Jeremiah 37:2-8

예레미야는 유다 백성이 이집트를 의지하지 말고 바빌로니아에게 항복하면 살 수 있다고 말했지만, 시드기야 왕은 예레미야의 말을 듣지 않았어요.

Jeremiah said that the people of Judah would survive if they surrendered to Babylonia instead of relying on Egypt, but King Zedekiah did not listen to Jeremiah.

But neither he nor his servants nor the people of the land listen to the words of the LORD that he spoke through Jeremiah the prophet.
