주 오셔서 구하시리 He will come and save you

지난 주에 어떻게 보냈나요? How did you spend last week?

 

9월의 주제는 ‘인생의 문제를 만나 성도에게’입니다. (1주 ‘생사는 하나님이 주관하신다’, 2주 ‘전쟁은 하나님이 주관하신다’, 3주 ‘인생은 하나님이 치료하신다’, 4주 ‘피할 길은 하나님이 여신다’, 5주 ‘신앙의 회복이 문제 해결의 열쇠다’). The theme for September is ‘To believers meeting life’s problems.’ (Week 1 ‘Life and death are controlled by God’, Week 2 ‘War is controlled by God’, Week 3 ‘Life is healed by God’, Week 4 ‘God opens the way to escape’, Week 5 ‘The Recovery of faith is the key to solving the problem’). 그늘이 선인과 악인을 가려 드리우지 않듯, 인생의 문제도 선인과 악인을 가리지 않고 찾아옵니다. Just as the shadow does not separate the good and the bad, life's problems come to both the good and the bad. 신앙인이란, 인생에 문제가 없는 사람이 아니라 그 문제를 해석하고 믿음으로 풀어내는 능력을 갖춰가는 사람입니다. A person of faith is not a person who does not have problems in life, but a person who has the ability to interpret problems and solve them through faith.

 

□말씀과 나눔 Words and Sharing

1. 이스라엘 왕 아하시야가 난간에서 떨어져 크게 다칩니다(1~6절).

1. Ahaziah, the king of Israel, falls from the railing and is seriously injured (verses 1-6).

1) 아하시야 왕은 자신의 병이 낫는지의 여부를 누구에게 물으려 합니까?(2절)

1) Whom did King Ahaziah want to ask whether his illness would be cured? (verse 2)

2 아하시야가 사마리아에 있는 그의 다락 난간에서 떨어져 병들매 사자를 보내며 그들에게 이르되 가서 에그론의 신 바알세붑에게 이 병이 낫겠나 물어 보라 하니라

2 Ahaziah fell from the lattice of his upper chamber in Samaria and became sick. So he sent messengers and said to them, “Go and ask Baelzebub the god of Ekron whether I will recover from my illness.”

 

아하시야 왕은 그의 사자를 에그론의 신 바알세붑에게 보내 자신의 병이 낫겠는가 물으러 합니다. King Ahaziah sends his messenger to Baelzebub, the god of Ekron, to ask if his illness will be cured.

 

2) 하나님이 엘리야를 불러 왕에게 전하게 하신 말씀은 무엇입니까?(4절)

2) What words did God call Elijah to tell the king? (verse 4)

4 그러므로 여호와의 말씀이 네가 올라간 침상에서 내려오지 못할지라 네가 반드시 죽으리라 하셨다 하라 엘리야가 이에 가니라

4 Therefore thus saith the LORD, Thou shalt not come down from the bed on which thou hast gone up, for thou shalt surely die. So Elijah went.

 

하나님이 엘리야를 불러 왕에게 전하게 하신 말씀은 “네가 올라간 침상에서 내려오지 못할지라 네가 반드시 죽으리라”입니다. The words that God called Elijah to tell the king were, “You will not come down from the bed you are on, for you will surely die.”

 

<나눔 1> 아하시야 왕은 생사의 문제에 직면하자 가장 먼저 우상을 찾았습니다. <Sharing 1> When King Ahaziah was faced with the problem of life and death, the first thing he did was look for an idol. 문제를 맞닥뜨렸을 때 가장 먼저 찾는 대상은 내가 가장 의지하는 것일 수 있습니다. When you face a problem, the first thing you turn to may be the thing you rely on the most. 삶의 문제 앞에서 내가 주로 하는 생각과 행동은 어떤 것입니까? What are my main thoughts and actions when faced with life's problems?

 

파키스탄의 목회자와 성도들이 어려운 문제에 직면했을 때 저에게 먼저 도움을 요청하는 경우가 있는데, 우리는 사람보다 더 먼저 하나님을 의지해야 합니다. When pastors and believers in Pakistan face difficult problems, they sometimes ask me for help first. We must rely on God before we rely on people.

 

<나눔 2> 성경은 사람의 생사화복(生死禍福)이 하나님에게 달려 있다고 분명히 말합니다. 이 사실을 깊이 깨달은 적이 있습니까? <Sharing 2> The Bible clearly states that a person’s life, death, fortune, and misfortune depend on God. Have you ever deeply realized this fact? 그 깨달음이 내 삶에 가져다준 변화는 무엇입니까? What changes did that realization bring to my life?

 

세상에서 그 무엇보다 더 생사화복을 주관하시는 하나님을 경외하며 의지하며 살아야 한다는 것을 깨닫게 됩니다. I realize that I must live in reverence and dependence on God, who controls life, death, happiness, and unhappiness more than anything else in the world.

 

2. 아하시야 왕은 엘리야를 체포하도록 군대를 보냅니다(7~12절).

2. King Ahaziah sends the army to arrest Elijah (verses 7-12).

1) 왕의 사자들이 만난 엘리야의 모습은 어떠했습니까?(8절)

1) What did Elijah look like when the king’s messengers met him? (verse 8)

8 그들이 그에게 대답하되 그는 털이 많은 사람인데 허리에 가죽 띠를 띠었더이다 하니 왕이 이르되 그는 디셉 사람 엘리야로다 8 They answered him, “He is a hairy man, and he has a leather belt around his waist.” The king said, “He is Elijah the Tishbite.”

 

엘리야는 털이 많은 사람인데 허리에 가죽 띠를 띠었습니다.

Elijah was a hairy man and had a leather belt around his waist.

 

2) 군대의 오십부장이 엘리야에게 한 말은 무엇입니까?(9절)

2) What did the commander of the army say to Elijah? (verse 9)

9 이에 오십부장과 그의 군사 오십 명을 엘리야에게로 보내매 그가 엘리야에게로 올라가 본즉 산 꼭대기에 앉아 있는지라 그가 엘리야에게 이르되 하나님의 사람이여 왕의 말씀이 내려오라 하셨나이다

9 Then he sent the commander of fifty and fifty of his soldiers to Elijah. He went up to Elijah, and found him sitting on the top of the mountain. He said to Elijah, “O man of God, the king says, ‘Come down.’”

 

 

군대의 오십부장이 엘리야에게 한 말은 “하나님의 사람이여 왕의 말씀이 내려오라 하셨나이다”

The commander of the army said to Elijah, “O man of God, the king says, ‘Come down.’”

 

3) 처음과 그 다음 왕의 군대는 어떻게 되었습니까?(10,12절)

3) What happened to the king’s army the first time and the next time? (verses 10~12)

10 엘리야가 오십부장에게 대답하여 이르되 내가 만일 하나님의 사람이면 불이 하늘에서 내려와 너와 너의 오십 명을 사를지로다 하매 불이 곧 하늘에서 내려와 그와 그의 군사 오십 명을 살랐더라

11 왕이 다시 다른 오십부장과 그의 군사 오십 명을 엘리야에게로 보내니 그가 엘리야에게 말하여 이르되 하나님의 사람이여 왕의 말씀이 속히 내려오라 하셨나이다 하니

12 엘리야가 그들에게 대답하여 이르되 내가 만일 하나님의 사람이면 불이 하늘에서 내려와 너와 너의 오십 명을 사를지로다 하매 하나님의 불이 곧 하늘에서 내려와 그와 그의 군사 오십 명을 살랐더라

10 Elijah answered the commander of fifty, “If I am God’s man, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men.” Immediately fire came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty men.

11 Then the king sent another captain of fifty and fifty of his men to Elijah. He said to Elijah, “Man of God, the king says, ‘Come down quickly.’”

12 Elijah answered them, “If I am God’s man, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men.” And immediately the fire of God came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty men.

 

불이 하늘에서 내려와 처음과 두 번째 오십부장과 모든 군사들을 불살랐습니다.

Fire came down from heaven and consumed the first and second fifty commanders and all the soldiers.

 

<나눔 3> 하나님은 엘리야를 통해 아하시야 왕에게 ‘말씀’하셨고, 아하시야 왕은 오십부장을 통해 엘리야에게 ‘말’했습니다. <Sharing 3> God ‘spoke’ to King Ahaziah through Elijah, and King Ahaziah ‘spoke’ to Elijah through the commander of fifty. 누가 누구의 말을 들어야 했는지 분명합니다. 서로 충돌하는 사람의 ‘말’과 하나님의 ‘말씀’이 동시에 들린 경험을 나눠봅시다. It's clear who had to listen to whom. Let’s share the experience of hearing the conflicting ‘words’ of people and the ‘words’ of God at the same time. 그런 경우, 하나님의 말씀을 청종하려면 어떻게 해야 하는지 이야기해봅시다. In that case, let's talk about what we need to do to obey God's word.

 

하나님의 말씀을 전하라는 하나님의 ‘말씀’과 하나님의 말씀을 전하지 말라고 하는 사람의 ‘말’이 동시에 들린 경험이 있었는데, 하나님의 말씀에 청종하려면 지혜와 용기가 필요합니다.

I had the experience of simultaneously hearing the ‘word’ of God telling me to spread the word of God and the ‘word’ of someone telling me not to spread the word of God. It takes wisdom and courage to obey the word of God.

 

□함께 기도드려요 Let's pray together

 

하나님, 저희의 생사화복(生死禍福)을 당신께 맡기며 오직 당신을 의지하는 믿음을 갖게 하소서! God, let us entrust our life, death, fortune and misfortune to You and have faith that relies only on You!

사람의 말보다 하나님의 말씀을 더욱 청종할 수 있는 지혜와 용기를 저희에게 주소서!

Give us the wisdom and courage to obey God's word more than people's words!

사람의 말이 아니라 하나님의 말씀이 중심이 되는 공동체가 되게 하소서!

Let us become a community where the Word of God, not the words of people, is the center!
