If my head were shaved, my strength would leave me, and I would become as weak as any other man.

Samson did not know that Jehovah had left him.

하나님은 이스라엘을 구하시려고 삼손에게 힘을 주셨어요.

God gave Samson strength to save Israel.

삼손의 자기 힘을 비밀을 잘 지키며, 하나님의 뜻대로 이스라엘을 위해 싸워야 했어요. He had to keep the secret of Samson's own strength and fight for Israel according to God's will.

그러나 삼손은 들릴라에게 속고 말았어요.

But Samson was deceived by Delilah.

때로는 우리에게도 함정이 찾아와요. Sometimes we get pitfalls too.

그럴 때 우리는 어떻게 해야 할까요? So what should we do when this happens?

아래와 같은 함정이 찾아올 때, 나는 어떻게 말하고 행동해야 할지 생각하고 적어보세요. When the following pitfalls arise, think and write down what I should say and do.

“헌금하지 말고 아이스크림 사 먹을래?”

“Do you want to eat ice cream instead of donating?”

Don't buy ice cream and donate.

“Do you want to run away secretly when no one has seen you?”

하나님, 제가 함정에 빠지지 않도록 지켜주세요.

삼손이 진심을 드러내어 그에게 이르되 내 머리 위에는 삭도를 대지 아니하였나니 이는 내가 모태로부터 하나님의 나실인이 되었음이라 만일 내 머리가 밀리면 내 힘이 내게서 떠나고 나는 약해져서 다른 사람과 같으리라 하니라

Judges 16:17

And he told her all his heart, and said to her, “A razor has never come upon my head, for I have been a Nazirite to God from my mother's womb. If my head is shaved, then my strength will leave me, and I shall become weak and be like any other man.”
