잠언 22장 1~16절

Proverbs 22:1-16

 

성경을 읽으면서 ‘가난한 자’에 O표 하고, ‘부자’에 △표 하세요.

1. As you read the Bible, mark O “poor” and “rich” with △.

2. 재물이나 금은보화보다 귀하고 나은 것은 무엇인가요?(1절)

명예와 좋은 평판 Honor and good reputation

3. 남을 동정하는 사람과 가난한 자를 학대하는 자는 각각 어떻게 되나요?(9,16절)

3. What happens to those who are sympathetic and those who abuse the poor? (verses 9 and 16)

남을 동정하는 자는 축복을 받고 가난한 자를 학대하는 자는 가난에 떨어질 것이다.

Those who sympathize with others will be blessed, and those who oppress the poor will fall into poverty.

같이 생각해요 Think together

많은 사람이 돈을 좋아하고, 돈이 최고라고 생각해요.

A lot of people like money, and they think money is the best.

하지만 성경에서는 돈보다 소중한 것이 아주 많다고 말해요.

But the Bible says there are many things that are more precious than money.

아래 문장을 읽고 성경에서 말하는 내용과 같은 설명에 O표 하고, 틀린 설명에 X표 하세요.

Read the sentences below and mark O the same explanation as the Bible says, and mark the incorrect explanation with an X.

명예와 좋은 평판보다 일단 돈과 금은보화가 더욱 중요해요.(1절)

First of all, money and gold and silver are more important than fame and good reputation.

사람이 겸손하게 여호와를 경외하는 것을 가장 중요하게 여기면, 재물과 영예와 생명은 덤으로 얻어요.(4절)

If a person humbly regards the fear of the Lord as the most important thing, riches, honor, and life are added as a bonus (verse 4).

가난한 자와 자기 음식을 나누는 사람, 즉 남을 동정하는 사람이 축복을 받아요.(9절)

Blessed are those who share their food with the poor, that is, those who are sympathetic (verse 9).

돈을 벌기 위해서 가난한 사람을 괴롭히고, 부자에게 뇌물을 바치는 사람이 지혜로운 사람이에요.(16절)

A wise man is he who bullies the poor and pays bribes to the rich in order to earn money (verse 16).

잠언에 기록된 것처럼, 돈보다 중요한 것이 아주 많아요.

As the proverb says, there are many things more important than money.

이익을 얻으려고 가난한 자를 학대하는 자와 부자에게 주는 자는 가난하여질 뿐이니라

Proverbs 22:16

Whoever oppresses the poor to increase his own wealth,

or gives to the rich, will only come to poverty.
