지난 주에 어떻게 보냈나요?

How did you spend last week?

 

12월의 주제는 ‘종말의 시대를 사는 성도에게’입니다. The theme for December is ‘To believers living in the age of the end.’ (1주 ’힘써 여호와를 알자‘, 2주 ’회복의 새날을 고대하며‘, 3주 ’더 늦기 전에‘, 4주 ’크고 두려운 여호와의 날‘, 5주 ’하나님을 찬양하라‘). (Week 1 ‘Let’s strive to know Jehovah’, Week 2 ‘Looking forward to the new day of recovery’, Week 3 ‘Before it is too late’, Week 4 ‘The great and awesome day of Jehovah’, Week 5 ‘Praise God’). 하나님이 이스라엘 백성에게 바라시는 것은 죄를 뉘우치고 하나님께로 돌아오는 것입니다(호 5:15). What God wants from the Israelites is to repent of their sins and return to God (Hosea 5:15). 하나님의 마음을 아는 호세아는 하나님께로 돌아가자고, 힘써 하나님을 알자고 호소합니다. Hosea, who knows the heart of God, appeals to the people to return to God and to strive to know God. 그러나 이스라엘 백성은 하나님을 떠난 적이 없다고 생각합니다. However, the Israelites thought that they had never left God. 하나님께 꼬박꼬박 제사를 드렸기 때문입니다. This was because they had never stop offering sacrifices to God. 하지만 하나님은 그들이 하나님의 뜻을 모르고 하나님을 떠났다며 한탄하십니다. 하나님을 안다는 것은 무엇일까요? However, God lamented that they did not know His will and left Him. What does it mean to know God?

 

□말씀과 나눔 The Word and Sharing

1. 호세아가 백성에게 여호와께로 돌아가자고 호소합니다(1~3절).

1. Hosea appeals to the people to return to Jehovah (verses 1-3).

 

1) 호세아가 여호와께로 돌아가자고 권면하는 근거는 무엇입니까(1~2절)?

1) What is the reason for Hosea’s recommendation to return to Jehovah (verses 1-2)?

 

1 오라 우리가 여호와께로 돌아가자 여호와께서 우리를 찢으셨으나 도로 낫게 하실 것이요 우리를 치셨으나 싸매어 주실 것임이라

2 여호와께서 이틀 후에 우리를 살리시며 셋째 날에 우리를 일으키시리니 우리가 그의 앞에서 살리라

1“Come, let us return to the LORD; for he has torn us, that he may heal us; he has struck us down, and he will bind us up. 2 After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will raise us up, that we may live before him.

여호와께서 우리를 찢으셨으나 도로 낫게 하실 것이요 우리를 치셨으나 싸매어 주실 것이기 때문입니다.

For the Lord has torn us, but He will heal us; He has wounded us, but He will bind us up.

2) 여호와를 힘써 알자고 권면하는 선지자는 어떤 소망을 품고 있습니까?(3절)

2) What hope does the prophet who exhorts the people to strive to know Jehovah have? (verse 3)

3 그러므로 우리가 여호와를 알자 힘써 여호와를 알자 그의 나타나심은 새벽 빛 같이 어김없나니 비와 같이, 땅을 적시는 늦은 비와 같이 우리에게 임하시리라 하니라

3 Let us know; let us press on to know the LORD; his going out is sure as the dawn; he will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth.”

그분의 나타나심은 새벽 빛 같이 어김없어서 비와 같이, 땅을 적시는 늦은 비와 같이 우리에게 임하시리라 선지자는 소망합니다.

The prophet hopes that LORD's appearance will be as sure as the dawn, and will come to us like rain, like the latter rain that wets the earth.

<나눔 1> 하나님에게서 멀어지고 하나님을 모르는 것이 재난이고, 하나님께로 돌아가고 하나님을 아는 것이 회복입니다. 하나님께로 돌이켜야 하는 삶의 모습은 무엇인지, 하나님을 알기 위해 어떤 노력을 기울이는지 이야기해보고, 회복을 위해 서로 기도합시다.

<Sharing 1> Being distant from God and not knowing Him is a disaster, and returning to God and knowing Him is recovery. Let’s talk about what kind of life we ​​need to turn to God, what efforts we make to know God, and pray for each other’s recovery.

게임과 술, 철학과 드라마, 돈과 주식, 그리고 우상 등 세상의 것들에 마음을 빼앗겼던 우리가 하나님과 하나님의 말씀을 사모하는 마음으로 돌이켜 하나님을 더욱 알 수 있도록 기도합시다.

Let us pray that we who have been preoccupied with the things of the world, such as games and alcohol, philosophy and drama, money and stocks, and idols, can turn to a yearning for God and His Word and know Him better.

 

2. 하나님의 기대와 달리 백성은 죄에서 떠나지 못합니다(4~11절).

2. Contrary to God’s expectations, the people cannot escape from sin (verses 4-11).

1) 하나님이 백성을 심판하실 수밖에 없는 까닭은 무엇입니까?(4절)

1) Why does God have no choice but to judge the people? (verse 4)

4 에브라임아 내가 네게 어떻게 하랴 유다야 내가 네게 어떻게 하랴 너희의 인애가 아침 구름이나 쉬 없어지는 이슬 같도다

4 What shall I do with you, O Ephraim? What shall I do with you, O Judah? Your love is like a morning cloud, like the dew that goes early away.

이스라엘 백성의 인애가 아침 구름이나 쉬 없어지는 이슬 같기 때문입니다.

Because the love of the Israelites is like the morning cloud or the dew that quickly disappears.

이스라엘 백성의 하나님에 대한 사랑이 아침 안개와 이슬처럼 쉽게 변화하여 하나님을 배신했기 때문입니다.

This is because the Israelites' love for God changed as easily as the morning fog and dew and betrayed God.

2) 하나님이 원하시는 것과 원하시지 않는 것은 각각 무엇입니까?(6절)

2) What does God want and what does He not want? (verse 6)

6 나는 인애를 원하고 제사를 원하지 아니하며 번제보다 하나님을 아는 것을 원하노라

6 For I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.

하나님은 인애와 하나님을 아는 것을 원하고 형식적인 제사와 번제를 원하지 않으십니다.

God wants steadfast love and knowledge of Him, not formal sacrifices and burnt offerings.

3) 백성은 어떻게 살고 있습니까?(7~10절)

3) How were the people living? (verses 7-10)

7 그들은 아담처럼 언약을 어기고 거기에서 나를 반역하였느니라

8 길르앗은 악을 행하는 자의 고을이라 피 발자국으로 가득 찼도다

9 강도 떼가 사람을 기다림 같이 제사장의 무리가 세겜 길에서 살인하니 그들이 사악을 행하였느니라

10 내가 이스라엘 집에서 가증한 일을 보았나니 거기서 에브라임은 음행하였고 이스라엘은 더럽혀졌느니라

7 But like Adam they transgressed the covenant; there they dealt faithlessly with me. 8 Gilead is a city of evildoers, tracked with blood. 9 As robbers lie in wait for a man, so the priests band together; they murder on the way to Shechem; they commit villainy. 10 In the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing; Ephraim's whoredom is there; Israel is defiled.

 

그들은 아담처럼 언약을 어기고 거기에서 하나님을 반역하였습니다. 에브라임은 음행하였고 이스라엘은 더럽혀졌습니다.

Like Adam, they broke the covenant and there rebelled against God. Ephraim committed fornication and Israel was defiled.

 

<나눔 2> 하나님은 형식적인 예배보다 하나님을 아는 것과 인애(사랑)를 원하십니다. 하나님을 아는 것은 인애의 삶을로 드러나기 마련입니다. 내게 나타나는 인애는 어떤 모습입니까?<Sharing 2> God wants to know Him and love Him more than formal worship. Knowing God is revealed through a life of charity(love). How is love manifested in your life?

 

우리에게 말과 혀로만이 아닌 행함과 진실한 사랑이 더욱 필요합니다.

We need more actions and true love, not just words and tongues.

 

<나눔 3> 하나님을 알지 못하는 이스라엘 백성은 폭력, 살인, 사악, 가증, 음행을 저질렀습니다. 하나님을 모르는 자들을 삼키는 죄악들이었습니다. 오늘날 하나님을 모르거나 잊을 때 빠지지 쉬운 유혹은 무엇인지 이야기해봅시다.

<Sharing 3> The Israelites who did not know God committed violence, murder, evil, abominations, and fornication. These were sins that engulfed those who did not know God. Let’s talk about what temptations we can easily fall into today when we don’t know or forget God.

분노와 싸움, 거짓과 이기심, 게임과 술, 음행 등의 유혹에 빠지지 않도록 조심해야 합니다. We must be careful not to fall into temptations such as anger, fighting, lies, selfishness, games, alcohol, and fornication.

 

□함께 기도드려요 Let's Pray Together

주님, 우리가 당신께로 돌아가서 당신을 완전하고 진실하게 알게 하소서.

Lord, may we return to You fully and truly know You.

게임과 술, 철학과 드라마, 돈과 주식, 그리고 우상 등 세상의 것들에 마음을 빼앗겼던 우리가 하나님과 하나님의 말씀을 사모하는 마음으로 돌이켜 하나님을 더욱 알 수 있게 하소서!

Let us who have been distracted by the things of the world, such as games and alcohol, philosophy and drama, money and stocks, and idols, turn to a heart that longs for You and Your Word so that we can know You better!

우리가 말과 혀로만이 아닌 행함과 진실한 사랑을 하게 하소서!

Let us love with deeds and sincerity, not just with words and tongues!
