Hope comes to those who wait
Lamentations 3:19-39
The Lord's steadfast love is endless and His mercy is endless. Therefore, we can have hope even in the midst of suffering (19-22).
The Lord’s love and mercy are new every morning, and the Lord’s faithfulness is great (23).
The Lord is everything I have, the Lord is my hope(24).
The Lord is the one who blesses those who wait for Him or seek Him (25). Therefore, it is good to wait patiently for the Lord to save us (26).
It is good to carry this yoke when you are young, it is good to remain silent when the yoke you are carrying is heavy, and it is good to live humbly because there may be hope (27-29).
The Lord will not abandon us forever. Even though the Lord causes us sorrow, He takes pity on us with His great love. It is not His true intentions that bother us or cause us anxiety (31-33).
Lord, help us not to despair or become frustrated in any circumstance, but to wait and pray in trusting silence.
