God opens a way to escape

지난 주에 잘 보냈나요? Did you have a good time last week?

 

뜻대로만 되는 인생은 없을 것입니다. There will never be a life where everything goes as planned. 누구나 안전하고 평화롭게 살고 싶지만, 예기치 못한 난관에 부딪힙니다. Everyone wants to live safely and peacefully, but they encounter unexpected difficulties. 그래서 내일을 염려하며 오늘을 삽니다. So we live today worrying about tomorrow. 하지만 하나님을 의지하는 삶은 다릅니다. But a life that relies on God is different. 하나님이 의지하는 백성에게 피할 길을 여시기 때문입니다. This is because God opens a way of escape for the people who rely on him.아무 힘이 없었던 수넴 여인은 엘리사가 전한 예언의 말씀에 순종하여 7년의 기근을 피했습니다. The Shunammite woman, who had no strength, obeyed the prophetic words of Elisha and escaped seven years of famine. 그러나 하나님의 도우심이 없다면 왕도 죽음의 칼날을 피할 수 없습니다. 아람 왕 벤하닷이 그러했습니다. However, without God's help, even a king cannot avoid the sword of death. This was the case with Benhadad, king of Aram.

 

□말씀과 나눔 Word and Sharing

1. 엘리사가 수넴 여인의 가족을 다른 지역으로 보냅니다(1~6절).

1. Elisha sends the Shunammite woman’s family to another region (verses 1-6).

1) 엘리사가 여인의 가족을 피신시킨 이유는 무엇입니까?(1절)

1) Why did Elisha let the woman’s family flee? (verse 1)

1 엘리사가 이전에 아들을 다시 살려 준 여인에게 이르되 너는 일어나서 네 가족과 함께 거주할 만한 곳으로 가서 거주하라 여호와께서 기근을 부르셨으니 그대로 이 땅에 칠 년 동안 임하리라 하니

1 Elisha said to the woman whose son he had previously restored to life, “Get up, you and your family, and go and settle in a habitable place, for the LORD has called for a famine, and it will come on the land for seven years.”

여호와께서 이 땅에 7년의 기근을 부르셨으므로

The LORD called for seven years of famine in the land.

2) 7년 후, 여인이 자기 땅을 찾기 위해 왕을 찾아갔을 때 왕은 어떤 이야기를 듣고 있었습니까?(5절) 2) Seven years later, when the woman went to the king to find her land, what was the king listening to? (verse 5)

5 게하시가 곧 엘리사가 죽은 자를 다시 살린 일을 왕에게 이야기할 때에 그 다시 살린 아이의 어머니가 자기 집과 전토를 위하여 왕에게 호소하는지라 게하시가 이르되 내 주 왕이여 이는 그 여인이요 저는 그의 아들이니 곧 엘리사가 다시 살린 자니이다 하니라

5 While Gehazi was telling the king how Elisha had brought the dead back to life, the mother of the child whom he had brought back to life was appealing to the king for her house and her land. Gehazi said, “My lord the king, this is the woman, and this is her son. This is the one whom Elisha brought back to life.

 

엘리사가 죽은 자를 다시 살린 일을 게하시에게서 이야기를 듣고 있었습니다.

He was hearing from Gehazi how Elisha brought the dead back to life.

 

3) 여인의 호소를 들은 왕은 무엇을 명령합니까?(6절)

3) What does the king order after hearing the woman’s appeal? (verse 6)

6 왕이 그 여인에게 물으매 여인이 설명한지라 왕이 그를 위하여 한 관리를 임명하여 이르되 이 여인에게 속한 모든 것과 이 땅에서 떠날 때부터 이제까지 그의 밭의 소출을 다 돌려 주라 하였더라

6 The king asked the woman, and she explained. Then the king appointed an officer for her and said, “Give back to this woman everything that belongs to her, and all that her fields have produced from the time she left this land until now.”

왕이 그녀를 위하여 한 관리를 임명하여 이르되 이 여인에게 속한 모든 것과 이 땅에서 떠날 때부터 이제까지 그의 밭의 소출을 다 돌려 주라 하였습니다.

The king appointed an official for her and said to him, “Give back to this woman everything that belongs to her, and all that her fields have produced from the time she left this land until now.”

 

<나눔 1> 하나님은 수넴 여인에게 7년간의 기근을 피할 길을 열어주셨을 뿐 아니라, 돌아와서는 전토 또한 온전히 돌려받게 하셨습니다. <Sharing 1> God not only opened the way for the Shunammite woman to escape the seven-year famine, but also allowed her to receive her entire land back upon her return. 이처럼 하나님의 보호하심에는 빈틈이 없습니다. 하나님이 내 삶에 피할 길을 여시면서 나를 보호하고 회복시키신 경험을 나눠봅시다. In this way, there is no gap in God’s protection. Let’s share the experience of God protecting and restoring me while opening a way of escape in my life.

 

비록 성도가 많이 없어서 목회 사례비를 받지 못하지만 일용한 양식과 집과 옷 등을 공급해 주신 하나님께 감사드립니다. 그리고 하나님께서는 저희가 파키스탄, 인도와 방글라데시 등에 나누어 줄 수 있도록 도와주셨습니다.

Although we do not receive a salary for our ministry because there are not many believers, but we are thankful to God for providing us with daily bread, housing, and clothing. And God helped us distribute it to Pakistan, India and Bangladesh.

 

2. 엘리사가 아람에게 벌어질 일을 예언합니다(7~10절).

2. Elisha prophesies what will happen to Aram (verses 7-10).

1) 엘리사는 아람 왕의 병에 대해 무엇이라고 예언합니까?(10절)

1) What does Elisha prophesy about the king of Aram’s illness? (verse 10)

10 엘리사가 이르되 너는 가서 그에게 말하기를 왕이 반드시 나으리라 하라 그러나 여호와께서 그가 반드시 죽으리라고 내게 알게 하셨느니라 하고

10 Elisha said, “Go and tell him, ‘You will surely recover,’ but the LORD has made it known to me that he will surely die.”

 

엘리사는 아람 왕의 병이 반드시 나으리라 하지만 그가 반드시 죽으리라고 합니다. Elisha says that the king of Aram will definitely recover from his illness, but that he will definitely die.

 

2) 엘리사는 아람 왕의 사자 하사엘에게 무엇이라 예언합니까?(12~13절)

2) What does Elisha prophesy to Hazael, the messenger of the king of Aram? (verses 12-13)

12 하사엘이 이르되 내 주여 어찌하여 우시나이까 하는지라 대답하되 네가 이스라엘 자손에게 행할 모든 악을 내가 앎이라 네가 그들의 성에 불을 지르며 장정을 칼로 죽이며 어린 아이를 메치며 아이 밴 부녀를 가르리라 하니

13 하사엘이 이르되 당신의 개 같은 종이 무엇이기에 이런 큰일을 행하오리이까 하더라 엘리사가 대답하되 여호와께서 네가 아람 왕이 될 것을 내게 알게 하셨느니라 하더라

12 Hazael said, “Why do you weep, my lord?” He answered, “I know all the evil you will do to the children of Israel. You will set fire to their cities, kill their young men with the sword, and cut their young children to pieces.”

13 Hazael said, “Who is your servant, such a dog, that he should do such great things?” Elisha answered, “The LORD has made it known to me that you will be king of Aram.”

 

하사엘이 아람 왕이 되어 이스라엘에게 악을 행할 것을 예언합니다.

It is prophesied that Hazael will become king of Aram and do evil to Israel.

 

3) 하사엘이 돌아와서 한 일은 무엇입니까?(15절)

3) What did Hazael do when he returned? (verse 15)

15 그 이튿날에 하사엘이 이불을 물에 적시어 왕의 얼굴에 덮으매 왕이 죽은지라 그가 대신하여 왕이 되니라

15 But the next day he took the bed cloth and dipped it in water and spread it over his face, till he died. And Hazael became king in his place.

 

하사엘은 왕을 죽이고 대신하여 왕이 됩니다.

Hazael kills the king and becomes king in his place.

<나눔 2> 아람 왕은 병을 두려워했으나 정작 그를 죽인 것은 그의 신하였습니다.<Sharing 2> The king of Aram was afraid of illness, but it was his servant who actually killed him. 사람이 이처럼 한 치 앞도 알 수 없는 연약한 존재임을 상기할 때, 내가 가다듬어야 할 삶의 자세는 무엇인지 서로 이야기해봅시다. When we remember that people are such fragile beings whose future is unpredictable, let's talk about what attitude in life we ​​need to develop.

 

하나님을 경외하며 하루 하루 최선을 다해 하나님의 뜻을 따라 살아야 합니다.

We must fear God and do our best every day to live according to God’s will.

 

<나눔 3> 엘리사의 예언대로 하사엘은 아람의 왕이 되었습니다. <Sharing 3> As Elisha prophesied, Hazael became the king of Aram. 이는 이스라엘뿐 아니라, 세계의 정세가 하나님의 손에 달려 있음을 보여줍니다. This shows that the situation not only in Israel but also in the world is in God's hands. 열방을 품은 그리스도인으로서 전 세계의 역사를 뜻대로 결정하시는 하나님께 기도해야 할 제목을 나누고 함께 기도합시다. As Christians who embrace the nations, let us share the topics we need to pray for and pray together to God, who decides the history of the entire world according to his will.

 

많은 외국인 근로자들이 주님의 십자가 사랑을 믿고 구원을 받으며 하나님의 말씀을 사모하여 믿음이 성장하여 고국에 들어가서 현지 선교사와 사역자와 함께 사명을 주님 오실 그날까지 잘 감당하기를 기도드립니다.

I pray that many foreign workers will believe in the love of the Lord on the cross, be saved, and grow in faith by yearning for the Word of God, so that they can return to their home countries and carry out their mission together with local missionaries and ministers until the day the Lord comes.

하늘에 계신 우리 아버지, 우리에게 피할 길을 여시고 보호해 주시는 당신을 믿을 수 있도록 도와주소서.
