Yahweh is my Savior
2 Samuel 22:1-7
On the day the Lord delivered David from the hand of many enemies, David wrote a poem to praise God.
The LORD is my rock, my fortress, my deliverer for me, the God of my rock from which I take refuge, my shield, the horn of my salvation, my high tower, my refuge from the enemy, my savior, he has saved me from violence.
God is the one who saved David from the hand of many enemies. When David called out to God in the midst of many troubles, God was the God of the Rock, the shield and the horn of salvation who listened to David and answered him. Let us also tell God who helps us in times of trouble, so let us receive help from God and praise the God of salvation.
Also, let us give thanks and praise in remembrance of the grace that God sent His only begotten Son to save us and that Jesus loved even to the point of dying on the cross for us.
God of the Rock who saved David from the hand of all enemies, let us and our children and grandchildren experience the God who helps us by asking God for help when they are in trouble, and let us and our children praise the God of salvation. Please! Even if there are difficulties at times, do not let us be discouraged, and remember the grace of Jesus, who sent His only begotten Son for us and who bore the cross for us, so that we can overcome difficulties with thanks and praise!
