The victory of David's generals
2 Samuel 21:15-22
The Philistines came up against Israel again, and Ishbibnob, one of the sons of the Philistine giants, tried to kill David when he was tired, but Abishai son of Zeruiah rescues David from danger. With this, David's followers ask that David never go to war again, as David is the lamp of Israel.
After that, in a war with the Philistines again, Israel's generals defeat the sons of the giants of the Philistines.
The God who was with David is also with David's generals to help them defeat the sons of the giants of the Philistines. Let's win the spiritual warfare with our strength and help with the Lord.
When David is tired and in danger, Abishai helps him. And David's followers tell David not to go to war again, so that Israel's lamp will not go out. We must properly discern when we need to move forward, and cooperate with the mission entrusted to us.
