Isaiah 19: 1-15

 

God not only rules the fate of each nation, but the fate of the natural world. Even Egypt, the greatest civilization and the most powerful nation of the world at the time, could not stand the judgment of God. Pray for God to uphold our nation, more importantly, to give our rulers the wisdom and fear of God.

 

God caused the Egyptians to bring destruction to themselves by confusing them by judging them. Pray for God to take away the embarrassment in our hearts and replace it with the ability to discern good and evil.

 

Lord, increase the number of good leaders who fear You and lead our people well according to Your will.
