지난 주에 어떻게 보냈나요? How did you spend last week?

 

마귀는 광야에서 예수님을 시험할 때 구약 성경을 인용할 정도로 간교했습니다(마 4:6, 시편 91:11,12). The devil was cunning enough to quote the Old Testament when testing Jesus in the wilderness (Matthew 4:6, Psalm 91:11,12). 여전히 마귀는 그럴듯하게 들리는 거짓 교훈으로 성도로 하여금 진리에서 이탈하도록 만들고 있습니다. The devil still uses false doctrine that sounds convincing to make the believer depart from the path of truth. 거룩한 일꾼은 바른 교훈을 따를 뿐 아니라, 바른 교훈으로 성도를 양육하여 그리스도의 좋은 일꾼으로 자라도록 도와야 합니다. A holy worker must not only follow the right teachings, but also nurture the saints with the right teachings and help them grow into good workers of Christ. 이 일을 수행하기 위해서는 거짓 교사들을 분별하고 금하는 일이 필수입니다. In order to carry out this work, it is essential to discern and forbid false teachers.

 

□말씀과 나눔 The Word and Sharing

1. 주님의 일꾼은 거짓 교훈을 분별하여 형제를 깨우쳐야 합니다(1~5절).

1. The Lord’s servants must discern false teachings and enlighten our brothers (verses 1-5).

1) 성령께서 밝히 말씀해주신 것은 무엇입니까?(1절)

1) What did the Holy Spirit clearly say? (verse 1)

1 그러나 성령이 밝히 말씀하시기를 후일에 어떤 사람들이 믿음에서 떠나 미혹하는 영과 귀신의 가르침을 따르리라 하셨으니

1 But the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will turn away from the faith, giving heed to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons.

 

성령께서 밝히 말씀하신 것은 후일에 어떤 사람들이 믿음에서 떠나 미혹하는 영과 귀신의 가르침을 따를 것이라 하셨습니다.

The Holy Spirit clearly says that in the latter days some will turn away from the faith and follow deceitful spirits and teachings of demons.

2) 거짓 교사들이 가르치는 것은 무엇입니까(3절상)?

2) What do false teachers teach (verse 3a)?

3 혼인을 금하고 어떤 음식물은 먹지 말라고 할 터이나 음식물은 하나님이 지으신 바니 믿는 자들과 진리를 아는 자들이 감사함으로 받을 것이니라

3 Marriage is forbidden and certain foods are forbidden to be eaten, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

거짓 교사들은 혼인을 금하고 어떤 음식물은 먹지 말라고 가르칩니다.

False teachers teach against marriage and against eating certain foods.

3) 바울이 이 문제에 대해 내린 결론은 무엇입니까(4절)?

3) What conclusion did Paul reach on this issue (verse 4)?

4 하나님께서 지으신 모든 것이 선하매 감사함으로 받으면 버릴 것이 없나니

4 For everything God has created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving.

바울은 이 문제에 대해 하나님께서 지으신 모든 것이 선함으로 감사함으로 받으면 버릴 것이 없다고 결론을 내립니다. Paul concludes on this issue that nothing is to be rejected if everything God has created is good and is received with gratitude.

<나눔 1> 바울은 극단적 금욕주의를 ‘믿음에서 떠나 미혹하는 영과 귀신의 가르침을 따르는 것’이라고 했습니다. <Sharing 1> Paul said extreme asceticism is ‘departing from the faith and following the teachings of deceiving spirits and demons.’ 무절제한 탐욕도 문제지만, 기본적인 욕구조차 억압하는 과도한 금욕도 문제입니다. Uncontrolled greed is a problem, but excessive abstinence that suppresses even basic desires is also a problem. 지나친 금욕이 왜 나쁜지, 그것이 어떤 문제를 야기하는지 이야기 나눠봅시다. Let’s talk about why excessive abstinence is bad and what problems it causes.

지나친 금욕은 인격적인 성령의 역사하심을 따르지 않습니다. 오히려 성령의 임재와 역동적인 역사를 인위적인 계율로 막고 있습니다. Excessive abstinence does not follow the work of the personal Holy Spirit. Rather, the presence and dynamic work of the Holy Spirit is blocked by artificial precepts. 이는 육체를 죄악시하고 영과 육체를 철저히 분리하는 이원론적인 사고 구조로부터 시작된 것입니다. This started from a dualistic thinking structure that regards the body as sin and completely separates the spirit and body. 즉 영은 선하고 물질로부터 비롯된 육은 악하다고 생각하는 것입니다. In other words, it is thought that the spirit is good and the flesh, which comes from matter, is evil. 그러나 이러한 금욕을 통해 심오한 영성을 이루려는 사람은 기독교 영성을 잘못 이해한 것입니다. However, anyone who tries to achieve profound spirituality through this type of abstinence has misunderstood Christian spirituality. 기독교의 영성은 기쁨의 영성이요, 자기 십자가를 질 수 있는 능력을 주시는 예수님을 기쁨으로 따라가는 것입니다. Christian spirituality is a spirituality of joy, and it is about joyfully following Jesus, who gives us the ability to carry our cross. 금욕주의적인 자기 통제의 수행을 통해 그러한 기쁨을 얻는다는 것은 자신을 기만하는 변명이 될 수 있습니다. Obtaining such pleasure through the practice of ascetic self-control can be an excuse for self-deception.

 

<나눔 2> 하나님이 창조하신 모든 것은 우리가 오남용하지 않고 감사한 마음으로 받아 누리면 모두 거룩한 것입니다. <Sharing 2> Everything created by God is holy if we receive and enjoy it with a grateful heart without misusing or abusing it. 하나님이 이 세상에 두신 것 중에 특별히 우리가 감사함으로 누리는 것, 우리가 향유하는 거룩한 것을 소개해봅시다. Among the things that God has placed in this world, let us introduce the things that we especially enjoy with gratitude, the sacred things that we enjoy.

지난 월요일 신학교 동기들과 점심 만찬을 나누고 호수공원을 한 바퀴 돌았는데 이것은 하나님께서 이 세상에 두신 것, 우리가 감사함으로 누리는 거룩한 것입니다. Last Monday, I had lunch with my seminary classmates and took a walk around Lake Park. This is something that God has placed in this world, a sacred thing that we enjoy with gratitude.

2. 주님의 일꾼은 경건 훈련에 힘쓰며 믿는 자의 본이 되어야 합니다(6~16절).

2. The Lord’s servant must strive for godly training and be an example for believers (verses 6-16).

1) 육체의 훈련과 비교할 때 경건의 훈련은 어떤 유익이 있습니까(8절)?

1) Compared to physical training, what are the benefits of godly training (verse 8)?

8 육체의 연단은 약간의 유익이 있으나 경건은 범사에 유익하니 금생과 내생에 약속이 있느니라

8 Bodily discipline is of some benefit, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise for this life and for the life to come.

육체의 훈련은 약간의 유익이 있으나 경건의 훈련은 범사에 유익하여 금생(今生)과 내생(來生)에 약속이 있습니다. Physical training has some benefit, but godly training is beneficial in all things and holds promise for this life and the life to come.

 

2) 주님의 일꾼은 어떤 면에서 믿는 자에게 본이 되어야 합니까?(12b절)

2) In what ways should the Lord’s servant be an example to believers? (verse 12b)

12 누구든지 네 연소함을 업신여기지 못하게 하고 오직 말과 행실과 사랑과 믿음과 정절에 있어서 믿는 자에게 본이 되어

12 Let no one despise your youth, but set an example to the believers in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity.

주님의 일꾼은 말과 행실과 사랑과 믿음과 정절에 있어서 믿는 자에게 본이 되어야 합니다. The Lord's servant must be an example to believers in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity.

 

<나눔 3> 건강한 몸을 위해 운동이 필요하듯, 우리 영혼의 경건함을 위해서도 훈련이 필요합니다. <Sharing 3> Just as exercise is necessary for a healthy body, training is also necessary for the godliness of our soul. 경건한 삶을 가꿔가기 위해 우리에게 필요한 훈련은 무엇인지 나눠봅시다. Let’s share what training we need to lead a godly life.

 

 

 

예전에 직장 다닐 때 직장인성경공부모임(BBB:Busisne Bible Belt)와 대학생선교회 CCC(Campus Crusade for Christ)의 도움으로 NLTC(New Life Training Center : 새생명훈련원) 제자훈련과 전도폭발 훈련을 받았는데, 말씀과 기도와 교제와 전도의 균형적인 믿음의 성숙을 위한 경건 훈련이 다시 필요합니다.

When I was working in the past, with the help of Business Bible Belt (BBB) ​​and Campus Crusade for Christ (CCC), I received discipleship training and evangelism explosion training at NLTC (New Life Training Center). We again need godly training to mature our faith in a balanced way through prayer, fellowship, and evangelism.

Lord, help us to enjoy everything You have given us with thanksgiving.

저희가 거짓 교사를 분별하고 잘못된 극단적 금욕주의 등에 빠지지 않게 하소서!

Help us to discern false teachers and not fall into wrong extreme asceticism!

저희가 말과 행실과 사랑과 믿음과 정절에 있어서 믿는 자에게 본이 되게 하소서!

Let us be an example to believers in speech, conduct, love, faith, and chastity!

말씀과 기도와 교제와 전도의 균형적인 경건 훈련을 저희가 받게 하소서!

Let us receive balanced godly training in the Word, prayer, fellowship, and evangelism!
