Hezekiah's Prayer
2 Chronicles 32:24~33
God knows what is in the deepest recesses of our hearts. God tested Hezekiah and saw what was in his heart when he received the envoys of Babylon. There is nothing we can hide from the Lord, who fashions our hearts and observes all our deeds (Ps. 33:15).
The quicker we repent, the better. A righteous person is not immune to pride, nor are they unsusceptible to making mistakes and wrongdoings. A righteous person is not righteous because they do not sin, but because they repent of their sins. What sins must we repent of and turn back from right this instant?
Lord, help us to remember that everything we have is because of Your blessings and grace, and to always live with humble gratitude.
