다윗은 편안한 집에 거하게 되면서 하나님의 언약궤가 장막 아래 있다는 사실이 내내 마음에 걸렸습니다. As David settled into his comfortable home, the thought that the Ark of the Covenant of God was under the tent weighed heavily on his mind. 그래서 그는 모든 힘을 다해 하나님의 집을 짓고 싶었습니다. So he wanted to build God's house with all his might. 그러나 하나님은 다윗의 이런 생각에 제동을 거시고 허락하지 않으십니다. But God puts the brakes on David's thoughts and does not allow them. 하나님은 지금까지 단 한 번도 그 어떤 건물이나 장소에 예속되신 적이 없기 때문입니다. Because God has never been bound to any building or place. 절대적으로 자유로우신 하나님이 앞으로도 그분의 선하신 뜻에 따라 다윗의 자손을 통해 그의 나라를 영원히 보존하겠다고 말씀하십니다. God, who is absolutely free, says that he will continue to preserve his kingdom forever through David's descendants according to his good will. 이 영원한 언약을 따라 만왕의 왕 예수 그리스도께서 이 땅에 오셨습니다. According to this everlasting covenant, Jesus Christ, the King of kings, came to this earth.

 

□말씀과 나눔 Words and Sharing

1. 다윗은 선한 마음으로 성전 건축을 계획했지만, 하나님의 생각은 다릅니다(1~6절). 1. David planned to build the temple with a good heart, but God had different thoughts (verses 1-6).

1) 언약궤가 성전(건물)이 아닌 성막(텐트)에 있다는 사실로 다윗이 괴로워하자, 나단 선지자는 어떻게 조언합니까(1~2절)?

1) When David was troubled by the fact that the Ark of the Covenant was in the tabernacle (tent) and not in the temple (building), what advice did the prophet Nathan give (verses 1-2)?

1 다윗이 그의 궁전에 거주할 때에 다윗이 선지자 나단에게 이르되 나는 백향목 궁에 거주하거늘 여호와의 언약궤는 휘장 아래에 있도다

2 나단이 다윗에게 아뢰되 하나님이 왕과 함께 계시니 마음에 있는 바를 모두 행하소서

1 Now it came to pass, when David was living in his palace, that he said to Nathan the prophet, Behold, I dwell in a house of cedar, while the ark of the covenant of the LORD dwelleth under curtains. 2 Nathan said to David, Do all that is in your heart, for God is with you.

나단 선지자는 다윗에게 아뢰기를 하나님이 왕과 함께 계시니 마음에 있는 바를 모두 행하라고 말합니다.

The prophet Nathan tells David to do whatever is in his heart, for God is with him.

 

2) 다윗이나 나단 선지자의 예상과 달리 하나님은 어떻게 말씀하십니까(3~6절)? 2) Contrary to David and the prophet Nathan’s expectations, how does God speak (verses 3-6)?

3 그 밤에 하나님의 말씀이 나단에게 임하여 이르시되

4 가서 내 종 다윗에게 말하기를 여호와의 말씀이 너는 내가 거할 집을 건축하지 말라

5 내가 이스라엘을 애굽에서 올라오게 한 날부터 오늘까지 집에 있지 아니하고 오직 이 장막과 저 장막에 있으며 이 성막과 저 성막에 있었나니

6 이스라엘 무리와 더불어 가는 모든 곳에서 내가 내 백성을 먹이라고 명령한 이스라엘 어느 사사에게 내가 말하기를 너희가 어찌하여 내 백향목 집을 건축하지 아니하였느냐고 말하였느냐 하고

3 That night the word of God came to Nathan, saying, 4 “Go and tell my servant David, ‘Thus says the LORD: You shall not build me a house to dwell in. 5 I have not been in a house since the day that I brought Israel up out of Egypt until this day, but have been from tent to tent, from tabernacle to tabernacle. 6 In all the places where I have gone with all Israel, did I say anything to any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people, saying, ‘Why have you not built me ​​a house of cedar?’”

 

가서 내 종 다윗에게 말하기를 여호와의 말씀이 너는 내가 거할 집을 건축하지 말라

내가 이스라엘을 애굽에서 올라오게 한 날부터 오늘까지 집에 있지 아니하고 오직 이 장막과 저 장막에 있으며 이 성막과 저 성막에 있었나니

이스라엘 무리와 더불어 가는 모든 곳에서 내가 내 백성을 먹이라고 명령한 이스라엘 어느 사사에게 내가 말하기를 너희가 어찌하여 내 백향목 집을 건축하지 아니하였느냐고 말하였느냐 하십니다.

Go and tell my servant David, 'Thus says the LORD: 'You shall not build me a house to dwell in. I have not been in a house since the day that I brought Israel up from Egypt until this day, but have been from tent to tent, from tabernacle to tabernacle. In all the places where I have gone with all Israel, did I say anything to any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people, saying, 'Why have you not built me ​​a house of cedar?'

 

<나눔 1> 하나님의 생각은 사람의 생각과 다를 수 있습니다. <Sharing 1> God’s thoughts may be different from man’s thoughts. 그러니 당연해 보이는 일이라도 지레짐작하지 말고 그때마다 지레짐작하지 말고 그때마다 하나님의 뜻을 여쭤봐야 합니다. So, even if something seems obvious, we should not guess, and we should ask God for His will every time. 어떻게 주님의 뜻을 묻고 발견하고 있는지 서로 나눠 봅시다. Let us share with each other how we are asking and discovering the Lord’s will.

 

하나님 말씀과 기도와 성령 하나님의 인도하심을 따라 주님의 뜻을 묻고 발견하고 있습니다. I am asking and discovering the will of the Lord through the Word of God, prayer, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

 

2. 다윗이 하나님을 위해서가 아니라, 하나님이 다윗을 위해 집을 지어주셨습니다(7~15절).2. It was not David who built the house for God, but God who built the house for David (vv. 7-15).

1) 하나님을 위해 성전을 건축하려는 다윗에게 도리어 하나님이 무엇을 약속하십니까(7~10절)? 1) What did God promise to David when he wanted to build a temple for God (verses 7-10)?

7 또한 내 종 다윗에게 이처럼 말하라 만군의 여호와께서 이처럼 말씀하시기를 내가 너를 목장 곧 양 떼를 따라다니던 데에서 데려다가 내 백성 이스라엘의 주권자로 삼고

8 네가 어디로 가든지 내가 너와 함께 있어 네 모든 대적을 네 앞에서 멸하였은즉 세상에서 존귀한 자들의 이름 같은 이름을 네게 만들어 주리라

9 내가 또 내 백성 이스라엘을 위하여 한 곳을 정하여 그들을 심고 그들이 그 곳에 거주하면서 다시는 옮겨가지 아니하게 하며 악한 사람들에게 전과 같이 그들을 해치지 못하게 하여

10 전에 내가 사사에게 명령하여 내 백성 이스라엘을 다스리던 때와 같지 아니하게 하고 또 네 모든 대적으로 네게 복종하게 하리라 또 네게 이르노니 여호와가 너를 위하여 한 왕조를 세울지라

7 “And you shall say to my servant David, ‘Thus says the LORD Almighty: ‘I took you from the pasture, from following the flock, and I made you ruler over my people Israel. 8 I have been with you wherever you have gone, and I have cut off all your enemies from before you. I will make you a name like the great men of the earth. 9 I will appoint a place for my people Israel and plant them and let them live there. They will never move again, nor will the wicked harm them as before.

10 Not as in the days when I commanded judges to be over my people Israel; I will subdue all your enemies before you. And I tell you that the LORD will set up a king for you.

만군의 여호와께서 이처럼 말씀하시기를 내가 너를 목장 곧 양 떼를 따라다니던 데에서 데려다가 내 백성 이스라엘의 주권자로 삼고

네가 어디로 가든지 내가 너와 함께 있어 네 모든 대적을 네 앞에서 멸하였은즉 세상에서 존귀한 자들의 이름 같은 이름을 네게 만들어 주리라

또 네게 이르노니 여호와가 너를 위하여 한 왕조를 세울지라고 약속하십니다.

Thus says the LORD Almighty: “I took you from the pasture, from following the flock, and I made you ruler over my people Israel. I have been with you wherever you have gone, and I have cut off all your enemies from before you. I will make you a name like the great men of the earth. And I tell you again that the Lord promises to establish a dynasty for you.”

 

2) 하나님은 누구를 통해 하나님의 집(성전)을 건축하게 하십니까(11~12절)? 2) Through whom does God build God’s house (temple) (verses 11-12)?

11 네 생명의 연한이 차서 네가 조상들에게로 돌아가면 내가 네 뒤에 네 씨 곧 네 아들 중 하나를 세우고 그 나라를 견고하게 하리니

12 그는 나를 위하여 집을 건축할 것이요 나는 그의 왕위를 영원히 견고하게 하리라

11 When your days are fulfilled and you go to your ancestors, I will raise up your offspring after you, one of your sons, and I will establish his kingdom. 12 He will build a house for me, and I will establish his throne forever.

 

다윗의 씨 곧 다윗의 아들 중 하나가 하나님을 위하여 집을 건축할 것입니다.

One of David's descendants, one of David's sons, will build a house for God.

 

3) 하나님은 다윗에게 어떤 언약을 주십니까(13~14절)? 3) What covenant does God give to David (verses 13-14)?

13 나는 그의 아버지가 되고 그는 나의 아들이 되리니 나의 인자를 그에게서 빼앗지 아니하기를 내가 네 전에 있던 자에게서 빼앗음과 같이 하지 아니할 것이며

14 내가 영원히 그를 내 집과 내 나라에 세우리니 그의 왕위가 영원히 견고하리라 하셨다 하라

13 I will be his father, and he will be my son. I will not take my kindness away from him, as I took it from the one who was before you. 14 I will establish him in my house and in my kingdom forever, and his throne will be established forever.”

 

하나님께서 영원히 다윗의 후손을 하나님 집과 하나님 나라에 세우리니 그의 왕위가 영원히 견고하리라는 언약을 주십니다.

God gives a covenant that David's descendants will establish God's house and God's kingdom forever, and his throne will be established forever.

 

<나눔 2> 다윗이 하나님을 위해 집을 지으려 했지만, 도리어 하나님이 다윗을 위해 왕조를 세우겠다고 말씀하십니다. <Sharing 2> David wanted to build a house for God, but instead God said that He would establish a dynasty for David. 우리가 하나님을 위해 열정적으로 일할 때에도, 사실 하나님이 우리를 위해 휠씬 큰 열정으로 일하고 계십니다. Even when we work passionately for God, God is actually working with even greater passion for us. 내가 드린 사랑보다 휠씬 큰 하나님의 은혜를 경험한 적이 있다면 나눠봅시다. 선교사로 헌신하겠다고 할 때 외국인 사역과 MIC 선교회를 통해 온 세상을 품고 사역할 수 있는 은혜를 주셨습니다. When I decided to dedicate myself to being a missionary, God gave me the grace to serve the entire world through foreign ministry and MIC Mission.

 

<나눔 3> 하나님이 다윗의 후손을 통해 하나님의 집과 나라를 세우겠다는 언약은 예수 그리스도를 통해 성취되었습니다. <Sharing 3> God's covenant to establish God's house and nation through David's descendants was fulfilled through Jesus Christ. 이제 예수 그리스도를 믿는 사람이 하나님을 모신 성전입니다. Now, those who believe in Jesus Christ are the temple in which God dwells. 우리 공동체는 하나님을 위한 성전으로 어떻게 지어져 가고 있는지 나눠 봅시다. Let's share how our community is being built as a temple for God.

 

말씀과 기도 그리고 사랑과 섬김으로 우리의 공동체가 하나님을 위한 성전으로 지어져 가도록 더욱 힘씁시다.

Let us strive even harder to build our community into a temple for God through words, prayers, love, and service.
