A Humble Attitude toward Life that Asks God
[Joshua 9:1-15]
When the Canaanites heard that Joshua and the Israelites were victorious at Jericho and Ai, they joined forces to oppose Israel. Opposing forces appear as God's kingdom expands. There are people who are against this when trying to spread the gospel to people from Myanmar. How can we overcome this?
The Gibeonites trick Joshua into signing a peace treaty. Joshua makes a peace treaty with the people of Gibeon without asking Jehovah. We must take a humble attitude toward life by asking God about even seemingly trivial issues. At that time, God will guide us to the best path.
God, help us wisely overcome those who are opposed to spreading the gospel, and guide us to make the right decisions by humbly seeking God’s wisdom in everything!
