Good news of great joy

 

누가복음 2:8~14

하나님 우리 아버지와 우리 주 예수님의 은혜와 평강이 당신과 온 가족들과 온 교회지체들에게 함께 하시길 기원합니다.

Merry Christmas! May the grace and peace of God our Father and our Lord Jesus be with you, your family, and all the church members.

 

온 천지 만물을 지으신 하나님께서 죄악 가운데 있는 우리를 사랑하여 우리를 위하여 독생자, 예수님을 보내 주셨습니다. 그리고 예수님은 높고 높은 보좌를 버리시고 낮고 낮은 이 땅에 오셨습니다. 우리에게 참된 평화와 구원을 주시려 이 땅에 오셨습니다.

God, who created all things in heaven and earth, loved us in our sins and sent his only begotten son, Jesus, for us. And Jesus left his high and lofty throne and came to this lowly earth. He came to this earth to give us true peace and salvation.

 

10 천사가 이르되 무서워하지 말라 보라 내가 온 백성에게 미칠 큰 기쁨의 좋은 소식을 너희에게 전하노라

11 오늘 다윗의 동네에 너희를 위하여 구주가 나셨으니 곧 그리스도 주시니라

10 But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid, for I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. 11 For today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.

 

예수님은 하나님의 아들이시지만, 이스라엘 다윗 왕의 후손으로 오셨습니다. 그리고 우리의 구원을 위하여 십자가에서 우리를 죄값을 담당해주신 하나님의 어린양, 우리의 구세주 그리스도이십니다.

우리가 회개하며 예수님을 믿을 때 구원을 받을 수 있으며 하나님의 자녀가 될 수 있습니다.

Jesus is the Son of God, but he came as a descendant of King David of Israel. And he is the Lamb of God, our Savior Christ, who bore the price of our sins on the cross for our salvation. When we repent and believe in Jesus, we can be saved and become children of God.

 

13 홀연히 수많은 천군이 그 천사와 함께 하나님을 찬송하여 이르되

14 지극히 높은 곳에서는 하나님께 영광이요 땅에서는 하나님이 기뻐하신 사람들 중에 평화로다 하니라

13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, 14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests!

 

수많은 천군과 천사들이 함께 “지극히 높은 곳에서는 하나님께 영광이요 땅에서는 하나님이 기뻐하신 사람들 중에 평화로다”라고 하나님을 찬송하였습니다.

우리들도 함께 주님 오신 이 날을 기뻐하며 감사하며 하나님께 영광과 사람들에게 평화가 임하기를 기도하며 하나님께 찬양하기를 원합니다.

A great host of heavenly hosts and angels praised God together, saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those on whom his favor rests.” Let us also rejoice and give thanks for this day of the Lord’s coming, and pray that glory may be given to God and peace may be given to people, and let us praise God.

 

아직 싸움과 분열 그리고 전쟁 가운데 있는 이 나라와 온 세상이 주님 오신 이날에 참된 평화와 구원을 얻기를 기도하며 찬양하기를 원합니다.

I want to pray and praise that this country and the whole world, which are still in the midst of fighting, division, and war, will obtain true peace and salvation on this day when the Lord comes.

 

그리고 아직까지 주님의 은혜와 사랑을 알지 못하는 무슬림, 불교도들, 힌두교도, 무신론자들에게 복음을 전하여 모든 이들이 예수님의 은혜와 사랑을 깨닫고 함께 찬양하기를 소망합니다.

And I hope to spread the gospel to Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, and atheists who still do not know the grace and love of the Lord, so that everyone can realize the grace and love of Jesus and praise Him together.

 

그리고 우리 위하여 죽으시고 부활하시고 승천하신 예수님의 다시 오심을 사모하며 그날을 기쁨으로 맞이하도록 날마다 하나님의 말씀과 성령님의 인도하심따라 복된 삶을 살기를 기도드립니다.

And I pray that we may live a blessed life each day according to the guidance of the Word of God and the Holy Spirit, longing for the second coming of Jesus who died, was resurrected, and ascended for us, and welcoming that day with joy.

 

여호와는 네게 복을 주시고 너를 지키시기를 원하며 여호와는 그 얼굴을 네게로 향하여 드사 평강주시기를 원하노라

The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.

 

우리 주 예수 그리스도의 은혜와 하나님 우리 아버지의 사랑과 성령 하나님의 인도하심이 당신과 당신의 가족과 성도들에게 함께 하시길 축원합니다.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God our Father, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit be with you, your family, and the saints.
