지난주에 어떻게 보냈나요? How did you spend last week?

 

6월의 주제는 ‘로마로 가는 길’입니다(1주 ‘이방의 빛으로 삼아’, 2주 ‘아시아를 넘어 유럽으로’, 3주 ‘로마도 보아야 하리라’, 4주 ‘죽음의 위협을 뚫고서’, 5주 ‘절망의 파도를 헤치고’). The theme of June is 'Road to Rome' (week 1 'As a light to the Gentiles', week 2 'Towards Europe beyond Asia', week 3 'I must see Rome too', week 4 'Through the threat of death' ', 5 weeks 'Waving through the waves of despair').복음은 유대인에게 먼저 주어졌지만, 유대를 시작으로 로마를 넘어 땅끝에 있는 모든 민족에게 전해져야 합니다(행1:8). The gospel was first given to the Jews, but it must be spread to all nations, starting from Judea and beyond Rome, to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8). 죄와 사망의 어둠으로 덮인 이방 민족까지 복음의 빛으로 밝혀야 합니다. Even foreign nations covered in the darkness of sin and death must be illuminated with the light of the gospel. 이를 위해 주님은 복음을 전할 사람들을 세우시고, 그들을 가리켜 ‘이방의 빛’이라 명명하십니다. For this purpose, the Lord appoints people to spread the gospel and calls them ‘The light for the Gentiles.’

 

□말씀과 나눔 Words and Sharing

1. 비스디아의 안디옥에서 바울이 복음을 전합니다. Paul preaches the gospel at Antioch in Pisidia.

1) 바울이 구약성경을 인용하여 확증하려는 것은 무엇입니까?(32~37절)

1) What is Paul trying to confirm by quoting the Old Testament? (verses 32-37)

 

(행 13:32) 우리도 조상들에게 주신 약속을 너희에게 전파하노니

(행 13:33) 곧 하나님이 예수를 일으키사 우리 자녀들에게 이 약속을 이루게 하셨다 함이라 시편 둘째 편에 기록한 바와 같이 너는 내 아들이라 오늘 너를 낳았다 하셨고

(행 13:34) 또 하나님께서 죽은 자 가운데서 그를 일으키사 다시 썩음을 당하지 않게 하실 것을 가르쳐 이르시되 내가 다윗의 거룩하고 미쁜 은사를 너희에게 주리라 하셨으며 사55:3

(행 13:35) 또 다른 시편에 일렀으되 주의 거룩한 자로 썩음을 당하지 않게 하시리라 하셨느니라 시16:10

(행 13:36) 다윗은 당시에 하나님의 뜻을 따라 섬기다가 잠들어 그 조상들과 함께 묻혀 썩음을 당하였으되

(행 13:37) 하나님께서 살리신 이는 썩음을 당하지 아니하였나니

(Acts 13:32) We also proclaim to you the promise given to your ancestors.

(Acts 13:33) That is, God has fulfilled this promise to our children by raising up Jesus. As it is written in the second Psalm, “You are my son, today I have begotten you.”

(Acts 13:34) And God raised him from the dead, and taught him that he should no longer see corruption, saying, “I will give you the holy and trustworthy gift of David.” Isaiah 55:3

(Acts 13:35) Another Psalm says, “You will not allow your Holy One to see corruption.” Psalm 16:10

(Acts 13:36) David served according to the will of God at that time, but he fell asleep and was buried with his ancestors, and suffered corruption.

(Acts 13:37) He whom God raised alive did not see corruption.

 

‘하나님께서 예수님을 일으키사 조상들에게 주신 약속을 이루셨다’는 내용입니다. It says, ‘God fulfilled the promise He made to the ancestors by raising Jesus.’

 

2) 바울의 가르침에 따르면 사람은 어떻게 의롭게 될 수 있습니까?(38~39절)

2) According to Paul’s teachings, how can a person become righteous? (verses 38-39)

(행 13:38) 그러므로 형제들아 너희가 알 것은 이 사람을 힘입어 죄 사함을 너희에게 전하는 이것이며

(행 13:39) 또 모세의 율법으로 너희가 의롭다 하심을 얻지 못하던 모든 일에도 이 사람을 힘입어 믿는 자마다 의롭다 하심을 얻는 이것이라 롬3:20

(Acts 13:38) Know therefore, brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is preached to you;

(Acts 13:39) And by him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you were not justified by the law of Moses. Romans 3:20

 

이 사람(예수님)을 힘입어 믿는 자마다 죄 사함을 받고 의롭다 하심을 얻습니다. Everyone who believes in this man (Jesus) receives forgiveness of sins and is justified.

우리는 예수 그리스도를 통해 죄를 용서받고 의롭게 됩니다. We are forgiven of our sins and justified through Jesus Christ. 죄용서와 의롭게 되는 것은 하나님의 백성이 되는 전제조건입니다. Forgiveness of sins and justification are prerequisites to becoming God’s people. 율법으로는 얻을 수 없었던 것을, 예수께서 선물로 주셨습니다. What could not be obtained through the law, Jesus gave as a gift. 이 복음을 믿는 우리들은 다른 사람을 용서하고, 끝없는 은혜로 우리를 의로운 백성으로 삼아주신 주님을 찬양합시다. As believers of this gospel, let us forgive others and praise the Lord, who with His endless grace, made us His righteous people.

 

3) 복음을 멸시하는 자들이 명심해야 할 예언의 말씀은 무엇입니까?(40~41절)

3) What are the prophetic words that those who despise the gospel should keep in mind? (verses 40-41)

(행 13:40) 그런즉 너희는 선지자들을 통하여 말씀하신 것이 너희에게 미칠까 삼가라 합1:5

(행 13:41) 일렀으되 보라 멸시하는 사람들아 너희는 놀라고 멸망하라 내가 너희 때를 당하여 한 일을 행할 것이니 사람이 너희에게 일러줄지라도 도무지 믿지 못할 일이라 하였느니라 하니라

(Acts 13:40) Therefore take heed lest what is spoken through the prophets come to you. Habakkuk 1:5

(Acts 13:41) And he said to them, “Behold, you despisers, be astonished and perish; for I will do things in your days, things which you will never believe, even if a man were to tell you.”

 

‘복음을 듣고도 믿지 않고 멸시하는 자는 멸망할 것’이라는 말씀입니다.

It means that ‘those who hear the gospel but do not believe it and despise it will perish.’

 

<나눔 1> 바울은 복음을 전할 때 구약성경을 인용하여 예수가 그리스도이며 하나님의 아들이심을 논증했습니다. <Sharing 1> When Paul preached the gospel, he cited the Old Testament to argue that Jesus was the Christ and the Son of God. 우리는 복음을 전하기 위해 성경 말씀으로 잘 무장되어 있습니까? Are we well equipped with the words of the Bible to spread the gospel? 복음 전도를 위해 지금 우리에게 필요한 훈련은 무엇인지 나눠봅시다. Let’s share what training we need now to evangelize the gospel.

 

전도폭발 훈련, 사영리 전도법, 색지 전도법 등을 훈련하여 복음을 성령님의 도우심으로 효과적으로 전할 수 있도록 훈련을 받아야 할 것입니다.

We will need to receive training in evangelism explosion training, four spiritual evangelism methods, and colored paper evangelism methods so that we can effectively spread the gospel with the help of the Holy Spirit.

 

<나눔 2> 복음이 선포될 때 적대적인 반응을 보이는 사람은 언제나 존재합니다. <Sharing 2> There are always people who react hostilely when the gospel is proclaimed. 이런 일은 성경에 예언된 것이기에, 전도자는 당황하거나 위축되지 말아야 합니다. Since this is foretold in the Bible, evangelists should not be alarmed nor shrink back in fear. 복음에 적대적인 사람들에게 우리는 어떻게 반응해야 할지 서로 나눠봅시다. Let us share with each other how we should respond to people who are hostile to the gospel.

 

복음에 적대적인 사람들과 논쟁하지 말고 온유한 마음과 영혼을 불쌍히 여기는 마음으로 성령님의 인도하심을 민감하게 기대하는 기도를 드려야 합니다. Instead of arguing with people who are hostile to the gospel, we must pray with a gentle heart and compassion for their souls, sensitively expecting the guidance of the Holy Spirit. 성경은 “너희 속에 있는 소망에 관한 이유를 묻는 자에게는 대답할 것을 항상 예비하되 온유와 두려움으로 하라”(베드로전서 3:15)고 권면하고 있습니다. The Bible exhorts, “Always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give a reason for the hope that is in you, but do so with gentleness and fear” (1 Peter 3:15).

 

2. 복음이 전해질 때 두 가지 반응이 나타납니다. (42~52절).

2. When the gospel is preached, two reactions occur. (verses 42-52).

1) 바울이 말씀을 마치자, 회당에서 어떤 반응이 일어났습니까?(42~43절)

1) After Paul finished speaking, what reaction occurred in the synagogue? (verses 42-43)

(행 13:42) ○그들이 나갈새 사람들이 청하되 다음 안식일에도 이 말씀을 하라 하더라

(행 13:43) 회당의 모임이 끝난 후에 유대인과 유대교에 입교한 경건한 사람들이 많이 바울과 바나바를 따르니 두 사도가 더불어 말하고 항상 하나님의 은혜 가운데 있으라 권하니라 행17:4, 행17:17

(Acts 13:42) As they were going out, people asked them to say this also on the next Sabbath.

(Acts 13:43) After the synagogue meeting, many Jews and devout converts followed Paul and Barnabas, and the two apostles spoke with them and encouraged them to always remain in the grace of God. Acts 17:4, Acts 17:17

 

사람들이 다음 안식일에도 이 말씀을 하라고 청하였고, 유대인과 유대교에 입교한 경건한 사람들이 많이 바울과 바나바를 따랐습니다.

People asked him to say this again on the next Sabbath, and many Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas.

 

2) 바울은 먼저 전한 복음을 거부하는 유대인들에게 무엇이라 말합니까?(44~46절) 2) What does Paul say to the Jews who reject the gospel he preached first? (verses 44-46)

 

(행 13:44) ○그 다음 안식일에는 온 시민이 거의 다 하나님의 말씀을 듣고자 하여 모이니

(행 13:45) 유대인들이 그 무리를 보고 시기가 가득하여 바울이 말한 것을 반박하고 비방하거늘

(행 13:46) 바울과 바나바가 담대히 말하여 이르되 하나님의 말씀을 마땅히 먼저 너희에게 전할 것이로되 너희가 그것을 버리고 영생을 얻기에 합당하지 않은 자로 자처하기로 우리가 이방인에게로 향하노라 마10:6, 롬1:16

 

(Acts 13:44) ○The next Sabbath, almost all the citizens gathered together to hear the word of God.

(Acts 13:45) When the Jews saw the crowd, they were filled with envy, and they refuted and slandered what Paul had said.

(Acts 13:46) Then Paul and Barnabas spoke boldly, saying, “It was necessary that the word of God be spoken to you first; but since you have rejected it and judged yourselves unworthy of eternal life, we are turning to the Gentiles.” Matthew 10: 6, Romans 1:16

 

“너희가 그것을 버리고 영생을 얻기에 합당하지 않은 자로 자처하기로 우리가 이방인에게로 향하노라.”고 바울이 말합니다. “But since you have rejected it and judged yourselves unworthy of eternal life,” says Paul, “we are turning to the Gentiles.”

 

3) 바울은 주께서 자신을 무엇으로 삼으셨다고 말합니까?(47절)

3) What does Paul say the Lord has made him for? (verse 47)

(행 13:47) 주께서 이같이 우리에게 명하시되 내가 너를 이방의 빛으로 삼아 너로 땅 끝까지 구원하게 하리라 하셨느니라 하니

(Acts 13:47) Thus has the Lord commanded us, saying, I will make you a light to the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.

바울을 주께서 자신을 이방의 빛으로 삼으셨다고 말합니다.

Paul says that the Lord has made him a light for the Gentiles.

 

<나눔 3> 선민 신분에 안주하여 복음을 받아들이지 않은 유대인들은 영생에서 제외되지만, 복음을 열망하며 예수님을 영접한 이방인은 하나님의 백성이 되고 영생을 누릴 것입니다. <Sharing 3> Jews who are satisfied with their status as the chosen people and do not accept the gospel are excluded from eternal life, but Gentiles who aspire to the gospel and accept Jesus will become God's people and enjoy eternal life. 예수님은 ‘이방을 비추는 빛’으로 이 땅에 오셨고(눅2:32), 바울 역시 ‘이방의 빛’이 되어 열방에 복음을 전했습니다. Jesus came to this earth as a ‘light illuminating the Gentiles’ (Luke 2:32), and Paul also became a ‘light to the Gentiles’ and spread the gospel to all nations. 주님은 이방 사람인 우리에게도 복음의 빛을 비추셨고, 우리도 누군가를 비추는 복음의 빛이 되게 하십니다. The Lord has shined the light of the gospel on us, Gentiles, and allows us to become the light of the gospel that shines on others. 우리가 복음의 빛을 비춰야 할 곳은 어디인지, 어떻게 비춰야 할지 이야기해봅시다. Let’s talk about where we should shine the light of the gospel and how we should shine it.

 

아직까지 예수님을 자신의 구주로 믿지 않는 우리의 가족과 친척과 친구와 이웃 그리고 모든 세상 사람들에게 우리의 말과 선한 행실을 통하여 복음을 전해야 합니다. We must spread the gospel through our words and good deeds to our family, relatives, friends, neighbors, and all people in the world who do not yet believe in Jesus as their Savior.

사랑하는 하나님, 지금도 구원의 이야기를 쓰고 계시는 하나님을 신뢰하게 하시고, 이방인들에게 하나님의 빛으로 살아가게 하옵소서.

Dear God, help us to trust You, who are still writing the story of salvation, and help us live as Your light to the Gentiles.

주님, 저희가 말씀으로 무장하여 복음을 명확하고 설득력 있게 전하게 하소서!

Lord, help us to be equipped with the Word and to preach the gospel clearly and persuasively!

복음의 빛으로 어두운 세상을 밝히는 선교 공동체가 되게 하소서!

Let us become a missionary community that illuminates the dark world with the light of the Gospel!
