A faithful and wise servant preparing for the day
Matthew 24:36-51
Jesus said that no one knows the day of his return, only God the Father. The day was like the days of Noah, and they did not realize it until the flood came and destroyed them all. Then one of the two will be taken and the other left. You must be awake and prepared for that day to come like a thief. Blessed are the faithful and wise servants who provide food at the right time. But the wicked servant thinks his master is lagging behind, beats his fellows, and is punished for debauchery with drunkards.
No one knows when Jesus will come again, only God. Therefore, we must stay awake and prepare for the day. Like a faithful and wise servant, we must live a blessed life receiving praise by dispensing food with what God has given us at the right time and faithfully fulfilling the entrusted mission.
God, we do not know the day of the Lord's return, so let us always be awake and prepare! Like a faithful and wise servant, share food at the right time and live a blessed life!
