Cooperation and Respect
Numbers 3:25-39
As God commanded Moses and Aaron, there were twenty-two thousand men of Levi's race for more than a month, and God assigned them to take charge of the Tent of Meeting by dividing the Levi's clans, the Gershon, the Kohath, and the Merari. On the east side of the Tent of Meeting, Moses and Aaron and Aaron's sons will camp and do the sanctuary for the work of the Israelites, and anyone who approaches the sanctuary will be killed.
God divides the work of each tribe of the Levites and designates the work he takes in the Tent of Meeting. And he also gave us gifts and talents to serve the community. We are different subjects of our eyes, nose, mouth, hands, and feet, but we must unite and cooperate with each other with the gifts and talents God has given us to build a community by helping each other.
God commands that Moses, Aaron and Aaron's sons will camp on the east side of the tabernacle in front of the tabernacle, on the rising side of the Tent of Meeting, and that they will do the sanctuary for the work of the Israelites, and that anyone who approaches the sanctuary will be killed. We are all called kingly priests, but we must respect the authority of the leader and build our community.
God, let us unite and serve one another with the gifts and talents You have given us, respecting the authority of our leaders, and establishing a community!
