When God give us another chance, let's be completely obedient!
1 Samuel 15:1-15
Samuel preaches the word of God to King Saul and tells him to completely annihilate Amalek, but King Saul does not completely obey God's word by keeping King Agag of Amalek and a good beast alive. Samuel prays all night for King Saul when God says that he regrets having made Saul, who did not completely obey him, as king. However, King Saul built a monument for himself in Carmel and returned to Gilgal. At Gilgal, King Saul said that he had obeyed the Lord's command, but when Samuel asked what the sound of these beasts was, he said that the people spared them to offer sacrifices to the Lord, but destroyed the rest.
God gives King Saul another chance through Samuel. However, because King Saul did not obey completely, God regrets having made Saul king. When God gives us another chance, let us fully obey and become God's joy.
King Saul built a monument for himself in Carmel, returned to Gilgal, and told Samuel that he had obeyed God's command. However, he presented himself and did not completely obey God. We must deny ourselves, take up our cross, follow the Lord completely, and become true disciples who obey Him.
Pray for me, my family, and the members of our church to fully obey when God gives us another chance to live a life that is pleasing to God, and to deny ourselves, take up our cross, follow the Lord completely, and become obedient disciples.
