Even now, return to Me with all your heart, fasting and weeping and mourning.
Joel 2:1-17
Blow the warning trumpet on Mount Zion and let the people know that the great and dreadful day of the Lord is imminent! Even now, if we set a fast day and convene a holy meeting and all the people will break their hearts and repent and turn to God, God, who is merciful and slow to anger, will change his mind and will not bring disaster.
God is gracious and merciful, forgives and blesses sinful people if they break their hearts and sincerely repent and turn back. Let's fast and gather together, break our hearts, confess our sins, and ask for God's mercy!
