Joel 1:1-12

 

Through the prophet Joel, God disciplines the people of Israel in their iniquity with a plague of locusts, the death of various trees, and the disappearance of the people's joy. That is why he wants an engaged virgin to pray earnestly with tears in sackcloth as if losing a groom.

 

God communicates with us and takes the initiative to lead the kingdom and history of God. So, if you are in trouble, you have to trust that the solution is in God and not elsewhere. Open your heart to the will of God that He wants to speak to us today as well.

 

We must come to our senses and turn around. Just as being drunk and feeling unsafe is never safe, not knowing that judgment is near doesn't mean you're not being judged. Keep in mind that the only way to avoid judgment is repentance, and if there is anything we need to turn around, let us turn around.

 

Please pray earnestly with tears so that we, our families, the saints, and all the people can repent and turn to God.
