Answer Me, Oh Lord!
Psalm 69:1~18
God knows our sins and folly. The justifications we put forward before others are meaningless when we stand before the Lord. In the process of complaining about unjust things and personal grievances, have we not forgotten that we too are sinners?
Although the Lord is silent, and the situation is bleak, the poet endures before the Lord to the end. He trusts in God’s compassion and steadfast love, and prays persistently, with earnest longing, for God’s comfort. Are our prayers infused with this kind of patience and earnestness?
Lord, You know our sufferings. Please come to comfort and restore us.
