The futility of idolatry
Isaiah 41:21-29
Idols are nothing that cannot make known what is to come or what has happened before, and they are nothing that cannot bring blessings and calamities. Those who choose idols are detestable (stupid).(21~24)
God is sending a messenger to Jerusalem to bring the good news of a man from the north (25-27).
Among those who cast idols, there is no counselor, and idols are just empty winds.
Let's throw away the empty idols and trust only in God who sends people to bring the good news.
God, let us throw away the world's vain idols and serve only the God who governs history!
