The Kingdom of Heaven where very small things grow into big things
Matthew 13:31-43
Jesus explains the Kingdom of Heaven in which very small things grow into great things through the parable of mustard seeds and yeast. And the reason why he explains through a parable is that he is trying to fulfill what the prophet said, revealing what was hidden from the creation of the world. And according to the disciples' request, Jesus explains the parable of weeds and declares judgment for the wicked and salvation for the righteous.
Jesus shows that the kingdom of small God is greatly expanded through a metaphor in which very small mustard seeds grow into large tree, birds come and nest in its branches, and small yeast spreads through three pecks of flour. I hope that we will also be all the workers who are loyal to small things and cooperate in the expansion of the Kingdom of great God.
By throwing the wicked into the furnace of fire through the parable of the weeds of the field, the righteous hope to live the life of the righteous in the fear of God, who makes them live a shining life like the sun in their Father's Kingdom.
God, let us be workers who are loyal to small things and cooperate in the expansion of God's kingdom! Let us live the life of the righteous in awe of God, who judges the wicked and saves the righteous!
