Persistent Prayer
Exodus 33:12-23
God tells Moses that he will go with the people of Israel through the intercession of Moses.
God is pleased and answers the persistent prayer that does not give up. When the covenant relationship with God was broken because of the Israelites' sins, Moses did not give up and prayed to the end. Are we earnestly seeking God, trusting in God, who answers even when there seems to be no hope?
Moses said to the LORD, "If you will not go with us, do not send us up from here!" (15)
Lord, help us to pray persistently and earnestly for our families, neighbors, and all nations!
