Kingdom of Priests, Holy People

 

Exodus 19:1-13

 

God is the one who carried the people of Israel from the Egyptians on the wings of eagles and led them to Himself.(4)

 

If we listen carefully to God's word and keep the covenant, we will become God's possession (treasure) among all nations, and we will become a Kingdom of priests and a holy people.(5,6)

 

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His own possession, that you may proclaim the goodness of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9).

 

Sanctify, prepare and wait (10,11)

 

Behold, I am sending you what my Father promised, so stay in this city until you are clothed with power from on high (Luke 24:49).

 

God who led the people of Israel from the Egyptians on the wings of eagles, help us to sanctify, prepare, wait, listen carefully to God's word and keep our covenant. And let us to declare the beautiful virtues of Him who called out of darkness into His marvelous light!
