What God Likes and Dislikes
Isaiah 66:1-14
God cares for those who are poor in spirit, contrite in spirit, and tremble at the word of God (2) -> God loves the humble, the repentant, and those who fear and obey God (2) .
God hates hypocrisy that only offers sacrifices and does not practice justice (3, 4)
He who is poor in spirit and contrite in spirit and trembles at my words, that man I will care for (2)
Let go of the hypocrisy that God hates and let us become a person God pleases!
With a poor heart and a contrite spirit, help us to hear and obey the word of God!
Don't let the church promote religious hypocrisy, but let God's glory be fully revealed!
Pray for the Pakistani government to improve the law that raised the death penalty to blasphemy charges, so that there are fewer innocent victims!
May Thy name be exalted and glorify Thy name!
