지혜로운 아들이 되세요! Become a Wise Son

 

잠언 13장 1~13절Proverbs 13:1-13

 

하나님께서는 아버지의 교훈에 순종하고 충고를 잘 듣는 지혜로운 아들이 되기를 바라세요.

그래서 하나님께서는 우리가 더 지혜로운 사람이 되도록 부모님을 통해 우리를 꾸짖으세요. 그런데 지혜로운 아들과 거만한 아들은 꾸중을 듣는 태도가 완전히 달라요. 지혜로운 아들은 자기 잘못 때문에 꾸중을 듣는다고 생각하며 무엇이 문제인지 돌아보아요. 다시는 같은 잘못을 저지르지 않겠다고 다짐해요.

그런데, 거만한 아들은 억울하게 혼난다고 생각해서 꾸중에 귀 기울이지 않고 속으로 화를 내요. 어리석게도 충고를 싫어하다가 지혜롭게 될 기회를 놓치고 말아요.

 

나는 어떤 아들이 되고 싶은가요?

 

하나님, 아버지의 교훈에 순종하고 충고를 잘 듣는 지혜로운 아들이 되게 해 주세요. 예수님의 이름으로 기도드립니다. 아멘 ?

 

God wants to be a wise son who obeys his father's counsel and listens to his advice.

So God rebukes us through our parents so that we can become wiser people. But a wise son and an arrogant son have a completely different attitude of listening to reproach. The wise son thinks he is being scolded for his faults and looks back at what is wrong. He(a wise son) promise I(he) will never make the same mistakes again.

By the way, the arrogant son feels unjustly punished, so he doesn't listen to the scolds and gets angry inside. He(a arrogant son) foolishly hate advice and miss the chance to become wise.

 

What kind of son do I(you) want to be?

God, help me become a wise son who obeys Your(father's) instructions and listens to Your(father's) advice. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen ?
