Let us not stop our spiritual battle.

 

[Esther 9:1-19]

 

Just as God raised up Joseph in Egypt, He raised up Mordecai and Esther to save the Jews living in Persia. Ultimately, God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to save mankind. Now, the decree (gospel) declaring victory in the name of Jesus Christ has already been proclaimed, but the day of the decisive battle (victory) has not yet come, so let us not stop our spiritual battle.

 

The king's edict stated that they could seize property, but the Jews did not touch the property of their enemies (10, 15, 16). Their fight was not a matter of plunder, but purely a means of self-defense. We must be careful not to let our good fight against evil become a means of greed.

 

Lord God, help us abandon any selfish desire and self-interest. Help us serve You and Your people with a pure heart.

Please let us not stop the spiritual battle of standing up and keeping the faith until the Lord comes!
