예레미야 Jeremiah 31:23~40

□찬양과 나눔 Praise and Sharing

찬송가 488장 이 몸에 소망 무언가

[Hymn] # 488 There is something of hope in this body

지난 주에 어떻게 보냈나요? How did you spend last week?

 

유다는 제동 장치가 고장 난 자동차처럼 종교적·사회적 죄악을 멈추지 못합니다. Judas is like a car with a broken brake system, unable to stop his religious and social sins. 죄의 관성(慣性)이 유다의 도덕성보다 강했습니다. The inertia of sin was stronger than Judah's morality. 하나님의 언약을 모조리 어겼기에, 그들에게 남은 것은 언약에 따른 심판뿐이었습니다. Since they violated all of God's covenants, all that was left for them was judgment according to the covenant. 그때 하나님이 새 언약을 약속하십니다. At that time, God promises a new covenant. 새 언약은 이스라엘과 유다의 불충함이 깰 수 없는, 인자하신 하나님이 온전히 그들을 회복시키고 새로운 미래를 여시는 언약입니다.The new covenant is a covenant that cannot be broken by the disloyalty of Israel and Judah, and by which a loving God completely restores them and opens a new future. 하나님의 새 언약으로 암흑뿐인 이스라엘의 운명에 서광(曙光)이 비칩니다. God's new covenant brings light to the dark fate of Israel.

 

□말씀과 나눔 Words and Sharing

1. 하나님이 유다와 이스라엘의 회복을 약속하십니다(23~30절)

1. God promises the restoration of Judah and Israel (verses 23-30)

1) 유다 땅으로 돌아올 포로민(捕虜民)들이 다시 쓸 말은 무엇입니까?(23절)

1) What words will the exiles who will return to the land of Judah use again? (verse 23)

 

(렘 31:23) ○만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님께서 이와 같이 말씀하시니라 내가 그 사로잡힌 자를 돌아오게 할 때에 그들이 유다 땅과 그 성읍들에서 다시 이 말을 쓰리니 곧 의로운 처소여, 거룩한 산이여, 여호와께서 네게 복 주시기를 원하노라 할 것이며

(Jer 31:23) This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: When I bring back the captives, they will speak these words again in the land of Judah and in its cities: O dwelling place of righteousness, holy mountain! May the LORD bless you.

 

유다 땅으로 돌아올 포로민(捕虜民)들이 다시 할 말은 “의로운 처소여, 거룩한 산이여, 여호와께서 네게 복 주시기를 원하노라” 할 것입니다.

The exiles who will return to the land of Judah will say again, “May the Lord bless you, O righteous dwelling place, O holy mountain!”

 

2) 하나님은 유다 백성을 어떻게 회복시키십니까?(25절)

2) How does God restore the people of Judah? (verse 25)

(렘 31:25) 이는 내가 그 피곤한 심령을 상쾌하게 하며 모든 연약한 심령을 만족하게 하였음이라 하시기로

(Jer 31:25) For I have refreshed the weary spirit, and satisfied every feeble spirit.

하나님은 피곤한 심령을 상쾌하게 하며 모든 연약한 심령을 만족하게 하십니다. God refreshes the weary soul and satisfies every weak soul.

 

<나눔 1> 우리의 피곤하고 연약한 심령에 진정한 쉼과 만족을 안겨주시는 분은 하나님밖에 없습니다. 하나님 안에서 누린, 혹은 누리고 있는 회복, 치유, 만족, 안식을 서로 이야기해봅시다.

<Sharing 1> God is the only one who can give true rest and satisfaction to our tired and weak hearts. Let’s talk about the recovery, healing, satisfaction, and rest we have enjoyed or are enjoying in God.

저의 허리의 치유과정, 동역 목회자의 식사와 과일 나눔, 병원 사역에서 반가운 얼굴을 대하는 형제 그리고 교정(敎正)(감옥) 사역에서 감사의 표현하는 지체들로 인하여 회복, 치유, 만족, 그리고 안식을 누리고 있습니다.

Through the healing process of my back, my co-pastor's meal and fruit sharing, the friendly faces of my brother in the hospital ministry, and the members expressing gratitude in the correctional (prison) ministry, I have been able to recover, heal, be satisfied, and rest. I am enjoying it.

2. 하나님이 이스라엘과 새 언약을 맺겠다고 약속하십니다(31~40절).

2. God promises to make a new covenant with Israel (verses 31-40).

1) 하나님이 새 언약을 준비하신 이유는 무엇입니까?(32절)

1) Why did God prepare the new covenant? (verse 32)

 

(렘 31:32) 이 언약은 내가 그들의 조상들의 손을 잡고 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 내던 날에 맺은 것과 같지 아니할 것은 내가 그들의 남편이 되었어도 그들이 내 언약을 깨뜨렸음이라 여호와의 말씀이니라

(Jer 31:32) Not according to the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, because I was their husband, and they broke my covenant, declares the LORD.

 

여호와께서 그들의 남편이 되었어도 그들이 언약을 깨뜨렸기 때문입니다.

Because even though the Lord was their husband, they broke the covenant.

 

2) 하나님이 이스라엘과 맺을 새 언약의 특징은 무엇입니까?(33절)

2) What are the characteristics of the new covenant that God will make with Israel? (verse 33)

 

(렘 31:33) 그러나 그 날 후에 내가 이스라엘 집과 맺을 언약은 이러하니 곧 내가 나의 법을 그들의 속에 두며 그들의 마음에 기록하여 나는 그들의 하나님이 되고 그들은 내 백성이 될 것이라 여호와의 말씀이니라

(Jer 31:33) But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days: I will put my law within them, and write it on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they will be my people, declares the LORD.

새 언약의 특징은 하나님께서 법을 그들의 마음에 기록하는 것입니다.

The characteristic of the new covenant is that God writes the law on their hearts.

 

3) 새롭게 세워질 하나님 도성(都城)의 존속(存續) 기간은 얼마입니까?(40절)

3) How long will the newly built city of God last? (verse 40)

 

(렘 31:40) 시체와 재의 모든 골짜기와 기드론 시내에 이르는 모든 고지 곧 동쪽 마문의 모퉁이에 이르기까지 여호와의 거룩한 곳이니라 영원히 다시는 뽑거나 전복하지 못할 것이니라

(Jer 31:40) And all the valley of corpses and ashes, and all the highlands unto the brook Kidron, even unto the corner of the gate of Ma on the east: they are holy to the LORD: they shall never be plucked up or overthrown again.

 

새롭게 세워질 하나님 도성(都城)의 존속(存續) 기간은 영원입니다.

The duration of the newly built city of God will be eternity.

 

<나눔 2> 이스라엘은 하나님과의 언약을 저버렸지만, 하나님은 그들을 위해 영원한 새 언약을 준비하셨습니다. <Sharing 2> Israel abandoned the covenant with God, but God prepared an eternal new covenant for them. 절대 포기하지 않는 사랑입니다. 나의 어리석음과 연약함에도 불구하고 여전히 나를 사랑하신 하나님을 경험했다면 나눠봅시다. It is a love that never gives up. If you have experienced God still loving you despite your foolishness and weakness, let’s share it.

 

코로나 기간 중에 방글라데시, 인도, 파키스탄, 네팔 방문을 아내의 동의 없이 시도하다가 실패하였지만 온라인을 통하여 성경강습 중이며 하나님의 때에 다시 방문할 수 있는 길이 인도될 것을 확신합니다.

During the COVID-19 period, I tried and failed to visit Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and Nepal without my wife's consent, but I am teaching the Bible online and am confident that God will guide me on the way to visit again in God's time.

 

<나눔 3> 새 언약은 우리 속사람을 완전히 변화시키는 ‘그리스도의 속죄’와 ‘성령의 임재’를 담고 있습니다. <Sharing 3> The new covenant contains ‘the atonement of Christ’ and the ‘presence of the Holy Spirit’ that completely changes our inner being. 예수님을 구주로 영접하고, 성령께서 내 안에 계심으로 인해 생긴 가장 큰 변화는 무엇입니까? What is the biggest change that occurred as a result of accepting Jesus as Savior and having the Holy Spirit within me?

 

어려운 가운데서도 항상 기뻐하고 쉬지말고 기도하며 범사에 감사할 수 있는 마음을 주신 것입니다.

He gave us a heart to always rejoice even in difficult times, to pray without ceasing, and to be thankful for everything.

 

□함께 기도드려요 Let's pray together

하나님, 저희가 그리스도와 성령 안에서 속사람이 날로 거룩해지게 하소서!

God, help us become holy day by day on the inside in Christ and the Holy Spirit!

새 언약의 복을 누리며 의롭고 거룩한 공동체가 되게 하소서!

Let us enjoy the blessings of the new covenant and become a righteous and holy community!
