Life After Salvation

 

Romans 12:1-8

 

Paul exhorts the brothers of the church in Rome who were saved to present your bodies to God as living sacrifices acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not think more than you ought to think, but think wisely according to the measure of faith God has distributed to each person. We, many of us, are called to become one in Christ and serve the community according to the gifts God has given to each one.

 

God has given each person a gift to serve the community. What are the gifts we have received from God? Let's make a beautiful community by serving each other with this!

 

Paul exhorts the saints of the church in Rome not to be conformed to this world, but to be transformed so that you may discern the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God. When we enjoy God's Word every day and meditate on it day and night, we can discern God's good, pleasing, and perfect will and obey it without conforming to this world.

 

God, help us to live a blessed and prosperous life by rejoicing in your word every day and meditating day and night, not being conformed to this world, but discerning and obeying your good, pleasing and perfect will! And let God serve the community well according to the gifts God has shared with each person!
