Orderly Departure, Obedience and Cooperation

 

Numbers 10:11-36

 

On the twentieth day of the second month of the second year of the Exodus, a cloud rose from the tabernacle, and the Israelites departed and arrived at the Wilderness of Paran. First, those from the camp of the tribe of Judah, the tribes of Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun, set out; Then the tabernacle was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari, who were carrying the tabernacle, set out.; and those from the camp of Reuben, the tribes of Reuben, Simeon, and Gad. The sons of Kohath of the tribe of Levi in ​​the middle set out, carrying the ark of the covenant, then those of the camp of Ephraim, the tribes of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Benjamin, and finally those of the camp of the tribe of Dan, the tribes of Dan, Asher, and Naphtali set out.

Moses asked Hobab son of Reuel, his father-in-law, to accompany him and become our eyes. Then Moses asked God to rise up and attack the LORD'S enemies and return to the Israelites.

 

God led the Israelites with a cloud, and rose up to strike down the enemies of the Lord and be with the Israelites. God, who led the Israelites in the wilderness, leads us in this wilderness-like world, rises up to strike the enemies of the Lord, and is with us. Let's hope for the spiritual land of Canaan, the Kingdom of Heaven, trust in God who will lead us to the end, and let's walk the march of faith with God to the end!

 

The 12 tribes of Israel and the tribe of Levi depart in an orderly manner to the land of Canaan according to God's guidance. We must follow the Word of God and the guidance of the Holy Spirit and move towards the spiritual land of Canaan in order and obedience.

 

Moses asks Hobab, the son of Reuel, his father-in-law, to accompany him and be our eyes. I hope that the work of the Lord will happen by humbly cooperating with each other.

 

God, just as you led the Israelites to the land of Canaan, please lead us to the spiritual land of Canaan, the Kingdom of Heaven. Let us follow God's back in order and obedience! And humbly cooperate with each other and let the work of the Lord happen!
