For One More Recovery

 

Psalm 85:1-13

 

The poet hopes for a nation full of mercy, truth, righteousness and peace by restoring the sinful people of Israel once again just as the Lord forgave them from their sins and restored them from captivity.

 

When we ask for forgiveness and ask for His mercy, God forgives our sins and restores us from captivity. No matter what sins you are in, I hope you will come back to God, trusting in God, who will restore you when you return asking for God's mercy. God will show us His steadfast love, and grant us His salvation.

 

We hope for a nation full of mercy, truth, righteousness and peace for us and the people of this country who were saved by believing in Jesus, repenting of our mistakes, and praying that our nation and all nations will be filled with love, justice, and peace. And let's practice love and justice!

 

God, give mercy to us who believe in Jesus and have been saved, but who are in the midst of sin again! So forgive us for our sins of lie, hate, quarrel, envy, selfishness, greed, drunkenness, violence, oppression, divorce, homosexuality, and so on, and pray and practice to be a nation of love, justice and peace! And help us to plant love and carry out justice for the sake of a faithful and peaceful world!
