Serving

 

John 13:1–17

 

Knowing the day that Jesus would die on the cross, he loved his disciples even more and washed their feet after the Last Supper. Jesus takes off his robe, puts on a towel, and kneels for his disciples. He takes off his authority and shows the greatest act of love from the lowest position in the form of a servant. Like Jesus, are you willing to get down on your knees to wash someone's weary feet?

 

Today, let's take a look at whether there is a desire to be treated as a master by easily escaping from the position of a servant to serve others. Let's see if there are people around us who need to bow more and look around every moment so that we don't get treated more than the Lord.

 

Lord Jesus, help us to live as Your disciples by going down to lowly places to serve the weak.
