Five barley loaves and two fish

 

John 6:1-15

 

Jesus fed the 5,000 people with the five barley loaves and two fish that the little child brought, leaving 12 baskets.

Jesus is indeed the prophet (Messiah, King) who was to come into the world. And when he realized that people were trying to take him by force and make him king, he withdrew to the mountain.

 

Jesus knows the needs of people and supplies them. Let's live trusting in Jesus who knows and meets our needs.

 

Jesus feeds thousands of people with five barley loaves and two fish brought by a child. What do I give to Jesus by faith?

 

Lord, we live trusting in You who know and meet our needs. Like a child who gave five barley loaves and two fish to Jesus, let us give to You what we have so that it may be used for Your Kingdom and glory!
