Careless Attitude toward Sin

 

Judges 1:22-36

 

 

God had told the Israelites to completely drive out the Canaanites, but the Israelites did not completely drive out the Canaanites and, even after they became strong, enslaved the Canaanites and did not drive them out completely.

 

Vv.22~26 If the Lord is with us, we can achieve true victory. The victory of the tribe of Joseph was not of a great tactical strategy, but of the Lord. When the Lord becomes the driving force in our lives, we will see Him open the way in our lives.

 

Vv. 34~36 If you compromise with the world and take a step back, you will easily retreat two or three steps, and you will be absolutely destroyed like the tribe of Dan. Completely obeying the Word of God, even in the smallest things, is the way to complete victory.

 

Lord, help us to fulfill the mission entrusted to us in complete obedience to your word.
