God Saves His People
Psalm 65:1~18
God frees those who are captive, gives a home to the homeless, defends those who suffer unjustly, and provides the poor with fertile soil. These people are the Lord’s family, and those who serve these people are the Lord’s workers. Which of my neighbours must I, as a worker of the Lord, help today?
All the powers in this world are merely creations before God. Therefore, we must not be arrogant before the Holy God but fear Him. When we know God’s power, we can see the limitation of worldly powers and gain the courage to oppose them. Let’s not wilt in the face of the false powers of this world or allow the world to govern our spiritual lives.
Lord, help us to trust in Your guidance and goodness, an to praise You in all situations and circumstances.
