God, Our One and Only Savior
Psalm 60
From time to time, God allows His people to fail. This could be God's way of punishing our disobedience or His way of training us to rely only on God. Rather resenting your failures, reflect on what it is that God may desire of you.
Our efforets are in vain if God is not with us. However, if God is with us we can gain victory, even if our army is small. This is because victory comes from God. On whom do I truly rely?
Lord, help us to never forget that any effort without You is in vain, and to rely on You even more.
